Bailey wandered through the busy halls of Evergreen high, heading for the cafeteria as she weaved her way through the crowds. She stepped into the large room, eyes raking over the faces around until she spotted Tyler sitting with Clay, Justin and a stranger. She made a beeline toward them, walking between the stuffed tables. 

'Hey,' She greeted as she sat beside Tyler, who flinched at the movement; 'Hey, it's just me.'

'Hey,' Tyler muttered. 

'Uh, Bailey, this is Ani,' Clay caught her attention. 

She looked to the girl sitting beside him, ignoring Justin's presence all together. 

'You're new?' She suggested.

'Yeh,' Ani nodded. 

'Welcome to the shithole.'

'Clay said something similar actually.'

'He knows better then anyone.'

'You talked to Coach yet?' Justin asked. 

'So, Ani, where'd you move from?'

'Uh, England.'

'Explains the accent.'

'I'm sorry, but are you two exes?'

'Observant. What's your last name?'

'Achola.'

'Good to know.'

'Why?'

'Don't ask,' Clay sighed; 'And yes, they used to be together.'

'Why'd you break up?'

'You're nosy,' Bailey stated. 

'Hey, Bailey,' A voice called from across the room. 

She turned to smile at the boys, waving to them before she stood. 

'Text me if you need me, Ty,' She murmured; 'See you, Clay.'

She flung her leg over the seat and walked away, Zach pulling her into a hug as he laughed. 

'What're you doing over there?' Monty asked. 

'Need a tutor, thought Clay might want the job,' She shrugged as she dumped her bag. 

'You need a tutor?'

'Tryna get out of summer school early.'

'Good luck. You're stuck with me.'

'You spoken to Coach yet?'

'Nah, wanna come with?'

'But, I need to eat.'

She rolled her eyes at the pout he shot her, scooping up her bag once more as she pushed on his forehead; trying to disguise a wince with smile.
