Chapter 23-Arcade

'Sit on the counter now." I watch as Billy does what I tell him before looking under the sink for first aid, however there was none.

"The first aid is under the kitchen sink instead." I nod at him and quickly go to retrieve it, I come back and set the box on the bathroom counter. I wash my hands before grabbing a rag and wetting the corner of it to wipe away the now dry blood.

"How did this even happen?" I hear him sigh at my question but another glare sets him straight.

"Well one of the teens last night was stronger than I thought and we fought over the knife for a bit, in order for me to win against him I had to grab the blade in my hand before stabbing him so..." He trails off and I simply shake my head like a disappointed mother would.

"Okay, maybe you should bring back up knives in case that happens again, you know place them in your waist band or sleeves." I dry his hand and toss the rag in the trash since it was now soaked in blood.

"Hey that's a pretty good idea, look at us being a team you giving me ideas and keeping me in check after my killing sprees." I focus on his injury now applying antibiotic cream to it before wrapping a bandage around his hand and wrist. I turn his hand over and make sure that it is secured before standing up and washing my hands.

"Your all set Billy, sorry for going all crazy mom on you there." He stands up and stands behind me.

"Nah it's fine, I enjoyed feeling cared for, for once that is." I turn around and notice tears forming in his eyes.

"Oh Billy come here." I open my arms and he gladly accepts the hug. "I may not enjoy how much you kill but I can be your woman behind the screen type of deal. So I'll help you plan things better so that things go in your favor and if you do get hurt I've make sure you get out alright, okay?"

"Yes, a new sidekick!" Now I'm hoping I don't die like Stu.

---Time Skip by 2 Weeks---

"Why don't we go out to an arcade or something, huh?" Billy and I had been playing Mario Kart for the millionth time when I said that I was bored of this game. The past two weeks had basically been just eating, sleeping, plotting, killing, movie watching and gaming. Not that I was complaining.

"Ya that sounds fun, there is this sick place that I go to all the time. We can also get lunch their." Billy stands up and helps pull me up too.

I was surprised by how close Billy and I had gotten, I guess that it's because we are closer in age and he is up in the modern times. Billy is also your stereotypical cool kid but also nerd at the same time which I find are quite fun to be around. For example we are driving down to the arcade right now and he's singing out in the car.

"I'm a barbie girl!" I burst out laughing as Billy sang, I had dared him to sing Barbie Girl with the windows down and we were getting some weird stares from everyone around us.

"Okay, Okay you can stop now!" 

"What if I don't want to!" He turns it up louder but I turn it off causing him to pout.

"I'm sorry crybaby but I see that arcade."  It was to our right causing Billy to make a sharp turn for he almost missed it.

"Thanks for that Y/N. So we can either play then eat and continue playing or eat and then play. The arcade has some killer pizza." 

"I think we should eat first for then we have more energy to play and don't have to stop in the middle." He nods and we get out of his car, I open the door of the arcade for him and dramatically pose as a doorman.

"My Lady, it is only proper for ladies to enter first." I bowed down and he decides to play along

"Why thank you kind sir and may I saw how strong and brave you look." We burst out laughing since Billy pretended to curtsy as speaking. When we actually walk in my eyes widen at the gaming heaven in front of me. There were the classic games but also some modern ones with VR headsets. 

"Go find us a table and I'll order the pizza and but us the required tokes or tickets to play." I do just that and think of all the fun we were to have. A dance central game, I am so getting Billy and I to compete.
