I walked through the quite hallways of the manor, it was the middle of the night and sleep would not come to me. I decided that a midnight snack was due although it was more like 3 am. The floor boards creaked in the old building as I walked along the cold flooring. The interior still amazed me so my head was tilted up taking in the paintings and woodwork as I walked.

Unfortunately the kitchen was downstairs so I stood at the top of the stairwell eyeing the railing. I took thee steps before my childish side came out. I swung my body up onto the rail in what one might call a princes position when ridding a horse. My legs dangled over the edge and my hands helped me slide down the railing all the way to the bottom.

I stumbled as I slipped off the end, grace is not something I had. I fixed my pajama shorts that rode up on the ride down. I also fixed my shirt up as I continued to the kitchen. The moonlight was visible through the windows and curtain since it was the dark country side. I stood staring out the window to gaze at the surprisingly visible stars. It will never fail amaze me how polluted the city is.

I open the window up from the twisting handle, feeling the gentle cool breeze hit my legs and face

I open the window up from the twisting handle, feeling the gentle cool breeze hit my legs and face. Babies hair that escaped my ponytail slapped the sides of my face snapping me out of my tranquil stance. I shut the window, making the rush of the wind fade away as I pulled the curtains in place. My journey for a snack continues and soon enough I am flicking the switch of the kitchen on.

"~Cookies where are you?~" I sing out at I search for the cookies I had gone out to buy a few days ago on a trip to the town a few kilometers away.

I find the box and soon I am sitting on the counter with the open box on the table. I am halfway threw the box when I spin around to face the hallway I had not walked down yet. I squint my eyes as I see something reflective in the distance.

I hop off the counter and leave the cookies. I take cautious steps as I near the open door hiding whatever captured light and reflected it back to my eyes. I stepped in and flicked the switch on ans screamed in surprise at the sight in front of me.

"Ahh! God damn doll! Scaring me, bad doll. You are quite a gorgeous doll though." There sat the Brahms doll, all glued up. It had dust over it's clothing and it's eyes seemed sad almost even though it held no spirit or evil in it. I walked closer to it but right before I touched it I heard thundering footsteps and the voice of Brahms ringing through the air.

"Y/N! Are you okay?! Where are you? Darling! Please!" I was shocked by how desperate his voice sounded, it was as if we were married and we woke up to find me out of bed and stabbed.

"I am over here!" I hear Brahms hurry up and soon his footsteps where seemingly in the kitchen.

"Your okay!" Brahms ran in and headed straight for me right away. He grabbed me and pulled me into a tight, protective hug. I huffed out of the shock on the hug but hugged back right away.

"I am fine Brahms, little Brahms here just scared me." I giggled out and pointed to the doll, watching Brahms turn to it.

"Ah. I almost forgot he was in here." Brahms let's go of me but places a guiding hand on my lower back as we walk to the doll, as if he was afraid I was actually hurt still.

"Yeah he scared the absolute life out of me." I laugh out drawing Brahms's attention to me completely. I feel him freeze up and I look up in confusion.

"Oh...I am sorry...it is just that...you are not wearing....much clothing..." I look down at my shorts and tank top realizing that Brahms was raised a gentleman. He even explained to be that with Greta he never saw her shower and the doll was simply to cuddle and nothing more.

"Oh Brahms it is alright. You may look things are different." I hear him sigh as he opened his eyes and looks me up an down.

"I am glad of that for you look very pretty, your hair looked perfect with these articles of clothing." I smile up at him and turn to walk back to my cookies, Brahms following.

"Thank you, your pajamas are nice too." I look at his loose black pajamas that cover all of his skin and see him blush.

"Thank you, they are my favorite." I offer him a cookie and I sit back on the counter and Brahms sits on a chair at the edge of the counter. We sit there for who knows how long for my eyes are fading to darkness soon after.
