I couldn't decide what to say or what to ask, too many questions swarmed my mind. This always happened to me, as an over thinker I was never good at conversations. I would always end up saying the stupidest question from my mind...

"How are you?" I facepalmed and yelled at my self internally for my awkward demeanor. Jason let out a deep chuckle from behind his mask before replying.

"I guess I'm good. Y/N I can tell your nervous, just take a deep breath and relax." I followed his advice which actually calmed my nerves down.

"So, I was wondering why you have so many books related to relationships." I pointed towards the bookshelf that I saw earlier and when Jason turned to look at it I couldn't help but notice a slight bit of pink on his neck and part of his cheek that was visible.

"Umm..you know I haven't really talked to anyone other than my mom so I decided to steal some of the counselor's books so that I could..you know learn how to...interact with someone." He let out a nervous laugh and rubbed that back of his neck while speaking and it made me feel bad for him. He never had any friends other than his mom and probably hasn't spoken since he drowned.

"Jason, I'd just like to say sorry for how you were treated as a kid. I know that I didn't have anything to do with it but I can relate since I was always picked on as a kid too." Jason nodded and didn't say anything so I just continued. "Also how did you end up with this cabin Jason, I thought that you lived in a run-down shack in the middle of the forest but this, this is amazing."

"I did live there till a couple years ago when I decided to build this place up, I got all the furniture from the cabins that kept on being rebuilt even after the deaths and destruction I caused." Jason gripped the table to the point that I thought the table was going to snap but all of a sudden he let go and returned to his calm manner.

"Well, I have one more question for you at the moment." I paused. "Why did you decide you wanted an arranged marriage and why me?"

"Mamma told me that it was time to find someone to have beside me. She said what was the point of having all this land if there is no one to share it with, no one to love and hold. Mamma told me to steal what I learned to be a laptop from a couple of teens after I killed them. She directed me through stuff and even took over a couple times before we got to your parents. We read through the information and Mamma instantly liked you so I liked you too. We got in contact with your mom and I guess we're here now."

Wow, I didn't know that my parents wrote about me online in an attempt to gain me a husband. I mean it makes sense now but what if a killer...wait that's exactly what happened. Then I thought about what Jason said in regards to his mom, is she speaking to him right now, what is she saying, does she like me, will I die if she doesn't?" I shook out of my daze once I saw Jason's hand waving in front of my face.

"Sorry, I just zoned out for a moment there."

"I could tell, anyway I have some questions to ask you." I nodded my head, motioning him to continue. "Why did you want an arranged marriage?"

"About that...I didn't know that my parents had done this. I sorta only heard about this a week ago." I saw Jason's body droop a bit as if in disappointment." But that doesn't mean I'm not interested in finding someone, I just need to move on from my past experience of a relationship which is why my parents started this whole thing. My parents got married pretty young and want the same for me, being only 23 and fresh out of school."

"What did you go to school for?"

"I went to be an engineer, and I currently have a job as a biomedical engineer. I basically design medical equipment for a living because I love to help people but couldn't stand being a doctor."

" That's nice, why don't we do some simple questions to get to know each other" I nodded, hoping to learn some personal stuff about Jason.

---Time Skip---

Jason and I were currently seated on the couch in his living room after eating dinner. We had continued to talk about simple things like favorite colors, food, animals and some deeper questions like what would you change about yourself.

We then moved onto random stories of our life when Jason let out an enormous laugh after I told him the story of how I scared a cat out of a tree only to be run over by a car.

"That's when my parents decided against getting me any pets, even a fish."

" I wouldn't trust you with yourself Y/N." I giggled at that because I can't even keep a plant alive let alone myself, I skip many meals unless I'm reminded by someone else that humans have to eat, all of this because of the wonderful distraction called the internet. I saw Jason glance outside before he turned towards me "It's still light out, is there anything you'd like to see or do out there."

I thought for a bit, I could ask to see the other cabins or the shooting range we passed earlier but I finally decided on one thing.

"Could we go swim in the lake?"
