The week past too fast for my liking. My bags sat by my bed and in my hand was the letter from Jason. Mom said that I could read it before I went to meet each person. I was waiting for my parents to get ready so that they could drive me to the airport. Knowing my parents it would take them some time to get ready so I slowly began to rip the envelope open. As my right hand went to pluck the letter out I heard the voice of my mother calling me from downstairs. I guess I'll have to read it on the plane, I tucked the flap of the envelope bag down as best as I could before placing it into my book bag for the flight.
I slowly walk down the steps, suitcase in hand. Once at the bottom I can see my mom and dad standing at the front door whispering to each other. As I stepped down from the last step the floor creaked, alerting my parents of my presence.
"Oh Y/N...Are you ready to go?" My father rubs the back of his neck while he speaks hinting that they were speaking of me before I came.
"Ya, all packed and ready to go." I lifted my suitcase up which help the basic hygiene items, many pieces of clothing and some stuff for entertainment and safety.
"Here I'll get your bag for you" My Father walks over and I pass him my nags before he walks out to place them in the car. I look at my mother and when we make eye contact I can't help but tear up.
"Y/N, my little girl all grown up. I'm going to miss you so much."
"I'm going to miss you too mom, and dad as well." I turn to touch the walls of the house that I spent my whole life in. "I can't believe that I'm leaving this place, all the memories I made here." I sadly smile at my mother who now also has tears in her eyes.
"Ya, remember when your cousins got you to sled down the stairs."
"And I ended up knocking Dad over at the bottom." We let out a laugh before we went silent.
"Let's go Y/N."
We walk out of the house and I see my Dad sitting in the driver's seat. As I get to the car I glance back at my house thinking that it might be the last time I see it.

Luckily I got a window seat for the trip but of course, there was a crying child seated behind me who was constantly kicking my chair. I looked to my left to see Lucy fast asleep, the sweet old lady who was beside me was going to visit her grandkids. It made me think of what I would be like with kids. I have always wanted kids because it means that you are with someone who you care so much about that you have a child with them but in most cases today it is quite opposite or ends up with divorce.
I take a sip of the water I was given by the overly happy flight attendant who clearly disapproved of my outfit. I look at my book bag and slightly bend down to grab the envelope. I open the flap again but this time I am able to take the letter out without any interruptions.
Dear Y/N Y/L/N
It is my pleasure to have you stay at my camp. I really hope that it works out and that you aren't someone who, as people say, judge a book by its cover. I can't wait to spend some time with you and get a chance to show you the type of person I am. I won't force anything on you but I truly hope that I get to be your husband.
From, Jason Voorhees
The letter was written on some very crumpled paper and the writing was extremely messy, almost like a child's. This seemed to professional but at the same time it did sound like it came from the heart
I put the letter away before looking out the window. Eventually, the motions of the plane rocked me into a dreamless nap.

I was trying to hail a cap to talk me to Camp Sapphire which was actually Camp Crystal Lake. I presumed that they changed the name after the killings took place. Finally one stopped and I made my way to it.
"Good afternoon Miss, you can put your bags in the trunk. "
I did as he suggested then I sat in the passenger seat beside the older man.
"So where to..."
"Camp Sapphire please."
He nodded to that but I could see fear in his emerald eyes. The ride remained silent for 10 minutes, I was looking out the window at the trees before I heard his voice.
" I know that I shouldn't say this, but do you happen to know what that Camp you're going to is?"
"What do you mean sir?
"I mean the history of it. Long story short, it is believed that a deranged killer lives there and kills off anyone who enters 'his' lands. People say that the man is Jason Voorhees, a boy who actually drowned in the lake that was there. The camp was Camp Crystal Lake at that time and his mother was working there when he passed. A year later his mom died after killing the counselors and he ended up being resurrected in a way and has stayed there, killing. Unfortunately the story was destroyed with the movies that where made, it caused more kids to come her and perish"
I stayed silent to that, fearing the worst at this point. We finally got to the camp, I got out of the car and grabbed my bags before waving goodbye to the cab driver who wished me good luck.
I stood still, watching the car lights slowly shrink till they disappeared. I turned around and nearly peed myself. There a few feet away from me stood a man, he stood at a towering height and wore what looked like a hockey mask from this distance.
He started to slowly walk up to me, and that is when I saw a machete in his right hand. I took a deep breath in attempts to stay calm.
"Hi...I'm Y/N..."
