Chapter 19-See Ya

I awoke in a tangle of sheets, the sunlight burning my eyes and the sound of a certain someone clowning around downstairs. Today I would be heading off to the next killer, I had checked last night with my mom to see who it was. Billy Loomis, otherwise known as Ghostface would be who I was facing next. I'd be heading to Woodsboro in about three hours, normally I'd have gotten up way earlier for a flight buy Penny assured me that he could teleport me there in no time.

I raised my head off my pillow and sat at the edge of the bed that I had for the past month. My bags were packed by the door, ready to go. I stood up and walked over the few items I had placed aside for the morning from the previous night. I walked into the bathroom yawning and ready for the day.

---Time Skip---

I climbed down the stairs as the smell of waffles filled the air, I turned the corner to see Penny in his clown for wearing an apron and making breakfast.

"Good Morning Penny." I took a seat at the breakfast bar, in front of a stack of waffles.

"Ah, Good morning Sugar. How did you sleep?"

"I slept as well as I could, as normal. Thanks for the breakfast." I took a bite of the food that Penny pushed towards me.

"No problem, I haven't cooked in a long time and I thought that there wouldn't be any better time than now to do it again...I'm going to miss you." Penny's voice faltered to a weaker one as if a child was saying bye to his friend.

"I'm going to miss you too Penny, come here give me a hug." I saw tears in his eyes so I opened my arms so that he could receive some support. He ran to me and latched himself onto me, his breathing slowly turning back to normal.

"Thanks, Y/N, I know my mood swings must be annoying."

"No it's fine, I find it fun in fact." I took the last bite of my meal and went to wash the dishes but Penny took them from me and washed them himself.

"You all packed to go." I hummed in response. "Here I'll get your bag for you and wait for me outside where I'll transport you to the airport." I did as he said and stood in front of the place I had called home for the past weeks. Penny came out soon after, bags in hand and a sad smile on his face. As he got closer I gave him one last hug.

"I guess I'll see you at the end of this." I backed out of the hug and picked up my bags.

"Yup, promise that you won't forget me."

"I promise." I saw a tear fall down the clown's face, it was surprising that the demonic clown was so emotional. Penny then disappeared and an airport came into my view. I walked into the airport, bags behind me.

---Time Skip---

I sat on a bench in the airport of Woodsboro, Mom said that Billy would be picking me up. I had Billy's letter in my hand and began to read it.

Dear Y/N,

Do you like scary movies? I wanna play a game? Who's the killer in-don't worry I would never kill you even though you'd get the question right anyways. Maybe in your stay, we man play horror film trivia without the death involved. I can't wait to have you over and to binge watch some movies.

Okay then, that was...nice. A few seconds later the sound of a car horn from my left drew my attention to a boy walking my way, he looked like billy but had aged a bit, mid-twenties to thirties I would say.

"Hey Y/N right, I'm Billy, Billy Loomis." The man stuck his hand out and I placed min in his I expected a handshake but he instead pulled me up and into a bro hug.

"Hello, how are you?" I awkwardly backed out of the hug and went to pick up my bag.

"Let me get that for you. I'm good though, how about you, how was your flight?" He put a hand on my back and began to lead me to his car.

"It was fine thanks." An awkward silence filled the air and took a shaky breath in.

"I can tell that your apprehensive about this all and how normal I am behaving but I'll it all to you later, I mean you probably thought I was dead for one." He laughed out and opened the door of his car for me and once I sat down he closed it. He walked to the trunk and gently placed my bags in before hopping into his seat.

"This will be about a 30-minute drive so why don't we get to know each other?" I nodded, anxious to know the answers to my many questions.
