I got dressed quickly, choosing a casual outfit consisting of yoga pants and a long t shirt. My hair just fell down naturally seeing as I cared not to do anything g to it. The whole time I tried to forget but at the same time figure out what just happened to Norman. He never had a moment like that in  the movies but it had to be connected to his mother side. I stood at the window, looking out at the empty parking lot and at the few cars that drove by.

It was a calming sight, to be slightly detached from society but still in it at the same time. We were so close to a bigger city but we had a small silent paradise here at the motel. Just the two of us at the moment in this area, watching the world pass by us as we take in the beauty of being alone and spirited from it all. I loved this when it came to all the killers, the isolation was comforting.

I moved away from the window and quickly moved downstairs to see what Norman was up to. I then remembered that he was in the motel and decided to explore the house a bit since Norman didn't say I was banned from any place. I first went to the kitchen since I always gravitate to those. I opened the fridge and was happy with what I saw, a bunch of my favorite foods and much more. I took a small snack for my journey before moving on.

I looked over to see plates on the drying rack by the sink. I decided to figure out where everything went before putting them away since they were now dry. I looked around the kitchen and wiped down the counters to try and help out a bit as I was a guest and Norman wanted to care for me so I could only help out when he was in the motel.

I moved over the living room and took it all in when it bathed in sunlight. The piano looked gorgeous at this time of day, the keys calling me even though I didn't really know how to play. I couldn't help but press a few keys before continuing on my adventure. I looked at the  curtains and felt them, they were so soft that I never wanted to let go but I did. I walked over to the main hallway, admiring the wallpaper and wall decors as well as the furniture there.

A quick trip down the hallway and I come upon a door, to the basement if I remember from the films. I swing the door open, it creaking under my hand. I open a second door behind that one and slowly walk down the steps, every step makes the wood creak under my feet. I reach the bottom and turn the light on with an old string lightbulb, luckily there was enough sunlight filtering in for me to see it. Soon the room is illuminated and I am standing in the center of it.

I twist my body around see a chair, a rocking chair facing away with me. However it seems as though someone was sitting in it and by the look, a woman. I felt like I knew what it was already but curiosity killed the cat  as I walked towards the chair and reached out to turn it around, refusing to step around and have my back to a wall. The chair scrapped against the floor, rocking slightly as I came face to face with a taxidermied corpse.

There sat Norman's mother, looking as she did in the first movie. Dead but purified through being taxidermied. Preserved through her own killers skill, her own son's skill. She was placed in a burgundy dress with floral designs that matched the fake flowers that sat in her hair. She had on a gold necklace and earrings, and on her wrist there was a blue ribbon. I wasn't that creeped out, I found it quite cool actually until a female voice came out into the air.

"Good day darling, I hope my son is treating you well. He better or else I'll get him back. He needs a woman like you so he better do his best to have you as his wife. You are the one woman who is good enough for him, the one woman who wouldn't pollute his soul and could continue our family purely." I looked around and didn't see Norman dressed as a woman anywhere meaning the voice was coming from the dead body.

"Thank you Norma, you have a lovely home and might I say I love your dress." A sweet laugh rings the air, a sweet one not evil at all.

"Thank you dear, this is why Norman needs to win you over for you are perfect for him. You better go back up my son is concerned for where you are, he can't find you anywhere. Have a good day Y/N."

"You as well Norma." I walked to the light and switched it off, walking up the stairs before turning to see the corpse once more. Though it seemed as if a small smile was tugging at the lips of Norma's mouth as I moved to open the basement door and find Norman.
