I woke up to a silent house, Michael was probably still asleep from his adventurous night of murder. I was them reminded of the kiss last night and blushed profoundly. Not only did he kiss me, I saw him without his mask. I only hoped that it wouldn't be awkward from either event.

I tromped down the stairs, bed hair on display and pajamas messed up. I saw that the body was still in the doorway and blood covered the floor and walls. I rolled up my sleeves and quickly tied my hair back ready to get down to business.

I knelt down and picked up the man's cold wrists, I dragged him down the hallway and into the living room. I sent him back down and walked up the the old fireplace. I grabbed three logs from the side and set them up, adding kindling underneath. I hit a match that lay in a box on the mantle against the brick until a small flame appeared. I threw it into the fireplace working on keeping the flame alive.

Soon enough the fire was roaring, I walked into the kitchen and came back with a butcher knife. I thought about what I was about to do but all sense of humanity left my head as I though of what could happen. I bent down beside the body and threw the knife down into his arm, right where it met the body. I tossed it into the fire and did the same to the other.

I waited as the meat burnt up, the smell of a rotting corpse filling the air around me and probably outside. The smoke was thick and heavy but soon the small turned into one close to burning chicken, there was no way the police could get us for that. I threw in his legs followed by his torso before his head joined the party. I made sure that all the bones where none recognizable, the skull taking longer than the rest and that the clothing also was gone before throwing water onto the fire.

I placed the knife in the sink and washed the evidence down so that no blood was on it at all. I filled a tub from under the sink with water and soap making sure to grab a rag as I walked to the doorway of the house. I cleaned the blood off of the floor first before scrubbing the walls soon doing the same down the hall from where I dragged him and finally the living room. I wiped my head and saw that it was nearly noon. I disposed of the rag and emptied the bloody water down the tub.

I headed to the kitchen, ready to eat, only to see Micheal at the bottom of the stairs without a mask. He looked at the door way, surprised that no body was to be found. He looked back to me and crossed his arms, eyebrow up as if asking me what I had done.

"Don't worry I got rid of him. Never thought my morning would start off with burning bodies and washing blood off the walls." He nodded and walked into the kitchen.

"Good work, can't tell that anything happened at all. Now would you like something to eat, I know how to cook pancakes sort of."

"Yes please, and I'll help."

---Time Skip---

We sat on the couch, pancakes on plates in out laps and the news playing.

"An unfortunate case has unraveled this morning. Police were called to a small neighbored hood in Haddonfield at the sight of a dead woman's body in the middle of the road. The woman 17 year old named Ashley Bell has been found dead. She seemed to have been killed in the deep hours of the night where the darkness hide her murderer. That is not all, her boyfriend Allan Ross has gone missing. We are hoping that he is alright and not tied to this horrendous case but it may be that two lives where lost this past calm night. Here is our reporter Patricia Evans interviewing those who lived where the murder took place."

I looked outside at her words to see police tape, police cars, policemen, concerned neighbors, camera men and the reporter speaking to the woman I noticed who lived across the way. I turned back to Michael who shrugged seeing as he did this regularly. I put my focus back on the screen to see the reporter introducing the woman.

"This is Lila, she lived just a few meters from where the body was found she says that she heard screaming in the middle of the night. Is that right."

"Yes it is. My husband and I woke up to see a man with a white mask chasing a woman and a man. I turned to her husband to call the police but when I looked back the man was gone and their was no sight of a body but it was awfully dark. We pushed it aside as a prank of something and went back to sleep. We regret not calling for we could have saved her or her boyfriend if we did. My husband is incredibly distraught right now and we weren't even directly impacted by this death."

"Thank you." The camera focused on the reporter who walked to face the house that Michael and I were currently in. "Now the man with a white mask is rumored to be the Killer Michael Myers from the 70's. This could be some sicko who simply wanted to carry on the legend of the masked killer or could it actually be something far worse."

The report changed to the weather and I tuned it out, turning to Michael who looked relaxed as ever. He could sense my nerves and pulled me into him, a calming act that a mother would provide her child or a lover to his love. I sighed and snuggled closer, pushing the fears from my head.
