"Yes! Jordan," my father smiled. "Why......" I groaned, slouching down further into my seat.
Just then, a line of men in black and white suits came from the kitchen area. They stood beside each of us and placed the silver plate they had in front of us before removing the cover. The sweet sent of breakfast finally filled my nostrils.
The chefs in the castle loved to make fancy dishes, but in simpler terms it was an omelet with a salad, a stack of pancakes and some lemonade.
"Is this Jordon person the one who has royalty in his blood?" My aunt asked as my mother returned to her seat. "Yes! It all works perfectly. We could make an arrangement so that Jordan is in the float with Crystal. When it's time to display the elements, he could do it for her. It'll even help to build their public image!"
All my family members seemed pleased with this arrangement. "What do you think?" My dad asked as all eyes immediately turned to face me. "Do I have an option?" I sighed, already knowing the answer.
"Nope," They all said before digging into their meals.

"So," Elena started as we entered my room. "What are you going to wear tomorrow?" My other two younger cousins, Beth and Ellie stared at me with faces of pure curiosity. "Seriously?" I glanced at them as I took a seat on my bed. "I'm going to have to pretend to control the other elements tomorrow and hope the all of Coralon doesn't see I'm faking it..... and all you're worried about is how I look?"
"A Princess' visual image is key," Ellie sat beside me. "Even if you embarrass yourself in front of the whole kingdom at least you'll look good doing it." " It's not a big deal you guys. I'll just pick out a random dress or something."
The three glanced at each other with wide, mischievous grins before saying, "MAKEOVER TIME!" Suddenly, the door flung open causing me to flinch. "Did someone say makeover?!" Lucy said, glancing around anxiously. "Oh no," I mumbled.
"Why don't you try this one?" Beth asked as she shoved a bright red dress into my arms. "Don't you think this is a little too-" I said before Elena interrupted me. "Why THAT one!? It's hideous."
"Your face is hideous," she snapped back. "Maybe this one?" Ellie held up a dark blue gown. "That one looks ni-" I was interrupted again. "No way!" Lucy shook her head. "Crystal has been seen in that dress WAY too many times. We need something new."
I rested my head on the light blue fluffy pillow while the others continued rummaging through my closet. I took up my Holo-vice and sent a message to Melissa.
'Hey Mel,' it read. 'I won't be able to make it to training tonight, sorry. Busy with Summer Opening Parade preps.' Almost immediately after I sent the message, I got a reply. 'Don't worry. Just remember to stay focused.' I smiled sadly at the screen as I thought of how she was such a great friend.
"This. Is. PERFECT!" I quickly spun my head around to see the four girls jumping excitedly around something. "What is it?" I asked as I approached them. "Crystal..." Lucy started. "I think we just found your perfect dress." They all stepped aside to reveal the gown.
It was simply gorgeous.
It was made out of white silk fabric with elegant golden swirls at the bottom. The collar was up instead of folded and the sleeves went all the way to the wrists. There was a pattern of a belt around the waist with a tiny diamond at the front.
"Wow," was all I could say when I stared at myself in the mirror. "You look fabulous!" Lucy said. "If we just added a little bit of eyeshadow and some red lipgloss you'd look perfect!"
"Alright alright," I said as I took off the dress and slipped into my night gown. "Save the pampering for tomorrow. We need some rest."
Lucy helped us get the extra beds for my cousins before leaving. "Goodnight," they said. I snuggled up comfortably in bed. "Goodnight."

"Hello Crystal." I glanced around to find myself in the same voice of darkness. "Can't you just tell me what your deal is?" I asked. "I've been having the same dream over and over again!"
"Oh, but this will no longer be a dream." His voice echoed in my head. "It will soon be reality." "What's that supposed to mean?"
"Have you ever wondered what happened to outcasts in this family?" He said in a much calmer voice. "N-no...." I whispered. "They get forgotten!!" The voice boomed again.
"Were you forgotten?" I tried to reason with him. I must have been getting the dreams for some reason, and that guy seemed like the only way to find out. "Many years ago, yes."
From the darkness a face made of light appeared, though I couldn't see its features. It's mouth moved as the male spoke. "I was forgotten by my family for who I was." "I'm.... sorry?" I asked in confusion.
"So naive Crystal, yet so innocent. I've warned you; learn the other elements." "Can't you see I'm trying!?" I snapped. "Your time will soon be up. You will soon be forgotten...." he said.
"Crystal...." his voice rang in my head again. I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to block out the voice. "Crystal.."
"Crystal!" The voice immediately changed into a woman's voice. I forced my eyes open and glanced around. I wasn't in my room.
I was standing in my parents' room.
How did I even get here? I thought.
A/N
What's going on with Crystal???
Who's that guy in her dreams?
How on Earth did she end up in her parents' room??
And why am I still here!?!
Any theories?🤨🤨🤨🤨
Also, is it normal for royal people to have pancakes and eggs for breakfast? 😂😂 That's basically what I eat most of the times😅
