"WAKE UP CRISSIE!!!"
"Just two more minutes Captain Sparkle face~" I moaned.
I slowly opened my eyes and flinched as I saw someone's eyes staring right at me. "Marco you weirdo. We're leaving soon. Get ready," I heard Jodie mumble. With that said, I immediately jumped up from my temporary bed on the floor.
"Who's captain sparkle face?" Marco asked. I completely ignored him. I was too excited about going to the temple to learn the other elements. I went up to a mirror, fixed my hair, grabbed my bag and dashed through the bedroom door. "Come on guys! Time to go to that temple place," I yelled.
Marco peeped his head from his sister's room. "How did you finish so fast? I thought girls take long to get ready." I rolled my eyes playfully at him. "It's because girls are awesome," Jodie said, stepping out of her room and slapping him on his head.
She wore a dark brown tank top, dark green jeans and red boots. "We're ready!" I heard the twins' voices say in sync. Jodie grabbed a backpack and we all stood at the door, waiting impatiently. "You're all ready!?" Marco gasped as he popped his head from the bathroom with a toothbrush in his mouth.
"Don't girls just take forever to get ready?" Jodie teased. I smirked. "I know right?"

After Marco was done pampering himself, we were finally walking to the temple. It was a nice morning, hot as usual though. But something about being with Marco and the others made me feel different. I liked that different.
"We should be heading the right way," Marco poked his head at the map. "We just need to stop for a few supplies."
We were walking around for a while until we were back on the main road to town. Packed as usual, I thought, staring at the cluster of people. "Okay. Jodie, you get some first aid stuff. Twins, find us some building materials," Marco said before glancing down at me. "We'll go get the food items."
Marco and I walked in silence, looking around for any sign of a cart with fruit. 'Shoe Polish,' one stall read. 'Beauty Boutique,' Another said. I groaned as I read another one. 'Hair growth shampoo.'
Oh great. Shampoo guy, I groaned mentally.
I was just able to hear him 'promoting' his product. "Buy one get one 50% on!" He paused again. "Darn it. I always get it wrong!" I couldn't help but giggle. "What's funny?" Marco asked. "Huh? Oh, it's nothing. Just remembered Captain Sparkle face."
At this point, he was stuck laughing too. "You know Crissie," he said as we came to a stop at a stall. "I feel like I've met you before." "Whaaaaaaat?" I said nervously. "I'm not from here remember??"
He looked back towards the stall as we were next in line, a confused but slightly amused expression still on his face. "I'll have two apples, three oranges and..... ten tomatoes." "Ten tomatoes!?" I nearly yelled. "What do you need so many for?" "You'll see," he said as he got them. "You'll see soon."

Splat.
He threw a tomato.
Right in my face.
Not my actual face though. He'd be dead if he did. We all met up on a slightly isolated part of town right in front of a statue. The royal family statue.
It was sculpted perfectly; my parents standing proudly behind a chair with a younger version of me sulking in it. "D-dude!" I yelled nervously. "What was that for?" Marco glanced back at me with a dull face before grabbing another tomato and throwing it right in my father's face.
"You go kid!" A passer-by said, giving us a thumbs up. "We could get in trouble," I stuttered. "Chill out Crissie, what's the big deal?" Jodie nudged my shoulder. "Not everyone likes those guys." "The big deal is that they're royal."
"Yeah.." Marco scoffed. "A royal pain in the butt." "At least have some respect!" I yelled angrily. There was no way I was going to allow them to disrespect my family like that. "They are of a higher class than you."
"Because of what huh?" He shoved a finger at my chest forcefully." Their family history? What makes them any better than us?" I opened my mouth expecting an awesome come-back, something to put them all to shame, but nothing happened. As much as I hated to admit it, he was right. Just because the four elements are in someone's blood doesn't make them better than anyone.
There was a long pause as I thought before I grabbed a tomato and threw it right in my face. They all gasped at my sudden action, but soon started laughing uncontrollably. "You're right," I said. "They're not better than us!"
Even though I was the daughter of the queen, I still felt like a commoner. Why? Because like them, I only had one element. I understood their feeling of inferiority. I was one of them.
"That's the spirit!" Bill smiled as he ruffled my hair. "Now let's go learn all the elements, march up to that lame castle and rub it in their sorry faces." "Let's just try step one first.." I giggled softly.
We got ready and began waking to the direction before an ear-deafening boom rang through the air.
A/N
Aaaannnnddd that's where I'll leave it for this chapter😂
I feel like I'm improving when it comes to writing. I feel more connected to my characters and the situations they're put in.
Also.... the jokes. I've been thinking on the spot for most of the jokes😂
Even the one with Captain sparkle face......
Yea😎 all improv.
I was gonna start off this chapter with Crystal getting another dream but..... nah!
She's been through too much drama. Especially what she's going to go through now😅
Welp, that's all I gotta say. I won't spoil anything. Vote, comment and share for more.
