We went down the stairs, squeezing each other's hand and went straight to the throne room. Then I finally noticed all the decorations. There were blue, red, green and even white party streamers hanging from the columns. Some tables at the side had some snacks and the royal thrones were decorated with party streamers.
"You look lovely," mom said as I tackled her and dad in a hug. "Thanks mom," I whispered.
The decorations for the party were amazing. I had never seen the castle so colorful before. "The guys really outdid themselves," I said, glancing around at the room. I quickly looked up when the front door opened up. "You came!" I yelled, running to my friends.
"You look amazing Crystal," Marco said. I giggled. "I wish I could say the same about you guys. Why aren't you dressed? It's a formal event you know. It starts in half an hour," I looked at their outfits. They were dressed in their normal casual clothes. "Yeah..." Bill rubbed his neck awkwardly.
"We didn't know we were invited." "We just came to check up on things," his twin muttered.
"Of course you're welcomed!" I exclaimed, causing them to look up. "You technically helped me learn the elements and keep Coralon safe! You should be VIP!" They all seemed bewildered by my outburst, but I didn't have any time for that. I snapped my fingers, two maids rushing beside me.
"Girls... you know what to do."

After much reluctancy from Jodie, the maid were finally able to bring them to the dressing room. I sat on my smaller throne, staring anxiously at the stairs. First the boys slowly came down the stairs in black and white tuxedoes. The twins had white flowers in their chest pockets and Marco had a bright orange flower.
"This thing is choking me..." Gill gasped, tugging on the tie around his neck.
His brother tried to help him, but froze when he looked up the stairs. Jodie. She looked stunning. She wore a long, dark green dress with her raven black hair swept to one side. I thought she looked fabulous, but the boys thought otherwise.
"You look hilarious!" Bill exclaimed, clutching his side as they all broke into laughter "Guys!" I elbowed Marco. He was still laughing, wiping away a single tear as he said, "That makeup makes you look like a clown!"
Jodie dashed towards him, grabbing his shoulders and forcing him to look at her. "I. Will. Kill. You. Little brother," she growled. "Yeah, just like you're killing that outfit!" Gill started laughing again as his brother gave him a high-five. I think she looks nice... I thought. Before Jodie could knock her brother out, the sound of a loud bell filled the air.
"They're here!!" I squealed, quickly fixing Gill's tie and dusting off Jodie's dress. I ran over to the large wooden front doors and stood beside my parents. They seemed calm during the situation, but I was still trying to contain my excitement. As I bobbed on the spot, I saw my mom glance at me with a small smile on her lips.
"You're excited, aren't you?" She asked playfully. "You have no idea," I said.
Then, the doors flung open.

Everyone was there.
All the commoners, in the castle.
It was simply incredible.
I sat on my throne, looking down at everyone. A slender man in a suit was seated on a bench near a grand piano, playing a soft, graceful tune. The sound of the music filled the air as everyone danced, making the atmosphere calm and soothing.
