Everyone was gathered around the dinner table. And by everyone, I mean everyone. Luckily, we had a few extra chairs for my friends and I.

I smiled slightly at my family, talking excited to one another as they waited for breakfast. "I.... guess we should get going now,"Marco said. He smiled sadly at me before his sister and the twins turned and walked away.

Before they could step through the doorway, I grabbed Marco's wrist. "Aren't you hungry?" I asked as they all looked back at me. "The last time you guys ate was probably.... back at the temple. You must be starving. You can have breakfast with us if you want."

Gill's eyes widened with excitement. "I though you'd never ask!" He grinned, licking his lips as they all grabbed as seat. I couldn't help but laugh at his funny antics. I'm so glad everything's back to normal now, I thought. I glanced down at my bandages hands.

More or less...

Suddenly, I felt a pair of arms wrap tightly around my waist. Out of instinct, I kicked their knee and blasted air at them to knock them away. I glanced back, worried that it was an attacker. Why else would someone squeeze my wounded stomach?

When I looked back and saw the golden blonde hair I knew it wasn't an attacker.

"Oh my gosh.... Jordan I'm so sorry!" I yelped, rushing over to him as I helped him to his feet. "I'm still a little edgy from the fight. Are you okay?" "The more important question is..... you have air powers!?" He yelled. "Yes. And fire.... and earth," I rolled my eyes playfully. "You're so late."

"I heard about you fighting your uncle," he said with worry wavering in his green eyes. "Are YOU okay?" I waved my bandaged arms in his face and said, "Does it look like I'm okay?" We both laughed, joking about how crazy the whole experience had been. It felt good to let loose and joke around for once.

All my calmness disappeared when I felt a kiss on my forehead. Jordan's kiss. It felt like my entire body shut down; the only thing I could do was nervously stutter phrases. "H-hey.." I tried to yell angrily. Then things went even worse when I heard Jodie's voice behind me.

"Woah-ho-ho.... what's going on over there?"

"Crystal... I didn't know you had a boyfriend~" Marco teased. "Being a princess has its perks." Then I suddenly remembered everything. I still had to be with Jordan whether I liked it or not. He was still my match.

I quickly turned around as I felt a pair of eyes staring at me. "Mom," I muttered. I glanced at her with the most pleading expression I could make. I even pulled out the 'puppy dog eyes' and pouted my lip. She looked back at me and smiled slightly before nodding.

She stood up from her seat, silencing everyone as she knocked her glass cup with a spoon. "Everyone. Based on my daughter's acquirement of the other elements, I have decided to cancel the arrangement made with the duke and duchess. After what she's been through, I think she's responsible enough to make her own decisions..."

Everyone was silently shocked-except for one person. "YES!!" Jordan exclaimed happily. "I can finally live my life!" He ran out of the room skipping happily. Then his parents jolted after him. "Jordan, get back here!!"

What a bunch of weirdos.... I thought.

My entire family, my friends and I were having a great time talking about trivial matters. It really helped me to get my mind off of the whole uncle ordeal.

Then a long line of men came in with silver platters in their hands. "Finally," Gill whispered, his knife and fork already in hand. The men placed a plate in front of each of us and removed the lid. Then, I finally saw it. It was an actually decent meal. I hadn't had one of those in weeks.

It was a small salad with lettuce, raw cabbage, carrots, cucumbers and many more vegetables. They even served us a glass of orange juice to go with it. I looked delicious.

"What is this?" Jodie asked as she poked her plate. "Uhh. That's broccoli," I said before taking a bit and glancing amusedly at them. "You haven't heard of vegetables?" I thought they were just messing with me, but their faces said otherwise. "Nope," they all replied.

"I've only ever heard of junk food," Gill said as he sniffed the broccoli. "Try it!" I beamed at them. "Trust me, it's good."

We all spent a few minutes eating, and Soon most of our plates were pretty empty. Even Gill's. "You sure showed that salad who's boss," his brother joked.

"Okay.... now that were all fed," mom said as she neatly patted her cheek with a napkin before suddenly slamming her hands onto the table. "Tell us what happened with Damian!" There was something weird in her blue eyes. Something I hadn't seen in a while.

She was ecstatic.

I quirked an eyebrow at her before she realized her vulgar out burst. "W-well, what I meant to saw was..... what happened during the fight?" I looked around at all my family members. They gazed upon me with intrigued expressions that looked ridiculously silly. Even Harry leaned in, waiting for a response.

When I didn't answer, I heard Elena across from me bang her fists on the table and say, "Story! Story! Story!" Then Harry and my grandparents joined. Surprisingly, mom didn't hesitate to join either. Soon, the entire table was chanting and banging the table.

"Alright alright," I grinned. "Simmer down."

My smile widened when everyone went silent. I took a deep breath.

"So, there I was....."

Aren't these little family moments adorable?!?😊😊😊

Ugh. I love this book so much. Is it normal for an author to get so attached to her book?😅

Oh well. It's coming to an end anyways....

Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be typing the next few chapters for five hours.

🙂 Bye!
