I was following my uncle for what felt like hours.

"WHERE is he going?" I asked myself. It was exhausting to be using my powers for so long, but I couldn't give up yet. I had made it too far to quit.

I stayed a few feet behind the swirl of water that carried my uncle. Then, it disappeared. "What?" I mumbled as I saw a figure creep down to a large swamp with multiple trees. I jumped down from my air tornado, my feet splashing in the water which only made it to my ankle.

"Where are you!?" I yelled, scanning the environment for him. As I heard leaves rustling I quickly glanced around, only to me greeted by nothing. The air was still, bringing a slightly creepy feeling. I held my fists close to my chest, rotating on my heel to look around.

Where is he? I asked myself.

From the corner of my eye, I caught a glimpse of a figure slowly rising from a deeper side of the water. Of course, it was my uncle. He glared menacingly at me with two huge balls of water hovering over his hands. I kept a trail beside me just incase.

"Glad you could make it..." he sneered, the pools of water casing an evil shadow on his face. "What's your problem man?!" I growled. "You know.... I tried to warn you about what the royal family did to me," he started. "I told you to learn the other elements, hoping that you'd join my side."

"That's seriously what you anticipated?" I quirked an eyebrow at him. "Why would I ever join your side?! You're evil!" "I wasn't always evil. I was hoping that you and I could team up and destroy everyone who underestimated us!" "But that's not fair!" I yelled. "You can't just hurt people because they have different opinions!"

We stood in silence, glaring daggers at each other. If looks could kill, we both would have been six feet under. Then with only last evil grin he said, "Who's gonna stop me?"

I gasped as a blur of blue was blasted towards me. Luckily, I used one hand to block it with my air powers and shot the trail of water towards him. He sneered evilly as he stepped to the right to dodge it.

Before I could even register what had happened, he lashed his hand forward with a huge water whip on it and knocked me back. My back slammed into a tree with a hard impact. Stupid tree, I mentally cursed.

The moment I recuperated from the attack, Damian had already made his way over to me. "Why?" He asked. "Why.... what?" I muttered, rubbing my bruised head. "Why try, when you know you'll fail? What makes you think you can beat me?" I slowly got up, holding my shoulder which felt extremely broken. "Because I have something you don't.."

"And what's that?" I heard a bit of humor lingering in his voice.

I furrowed my eyebrows and smiled with determination. "I've got family."

I saw anger in his emerald green eyes as he threw a blast of water towards me. After rolling to the side to dodge it, I released a huge fireball which sent him flying all the way into a tree.

At that moment, I realized something.

The battle to end all battles had started.

~{*}~

Dodge.

Attack.

Dodge.

Attack.

That's how it went over and over with each attack becoming more powerful. He shot dozens of water balls at me which I easily blocked. Then I punched the air, causing pieces of the earth to blast towards him.

"You're.... better than I thought..." he said in between breaths. "You ain't seen nothing yet!" I growled. Suddenly, I blasted the air beneath my feet causing me to be fired into the air. After I landed in a nearby tree, I jumped back down and slammed my fists into the earth and made the land blast into his face.

He got shoved into another tree. At that moment, it felt like I was winning. Time to finish this... I thought as I slowly approached him. He laid flat on the watery ground with his eyes closed and his arms spread helplessly around him. I stared at him with an angry expression, using all my rage to create a massive fire ball in my right hand.

I held it above my head but right as I was about bring it slamming down onto his face to end the whole war and spread peace across Coralon once again, I froze. Not because I was scared to hurt him, but I just couldn't. Literally. My breath shortened as the flame I had suddenly died out. As I glanced down at my uncle, my eyes widened.

His arm was stretched towards me and he was grinning evilly. Soon I found my body moving against my will, like I was a puppet with strings attached to my limbs. He slowly got up with his arm in my direction. The moment he clenched his fist, my feet slipped from the floor allowing me to hover in the air.

First my arm bent. Then my leg. It felt like all my bones were cracking inside my body. I suddenly gasped when I felt a force tighten around my neck. The only problem was, my uncle wasn't anywhere near me. "W-what's ha....ppening?" I said, gasping for air. "How..... are you..... doing that?"

"Ever heard of the power to control blood at your own will?" He sneered. "I may only have one of the main elements, but this one REALLY gives me an advantage." Suddenly, my body went stiff. "Stop..." I muttered. My eyes slowly began to close and my body some-what went limp.

Right as I was about to take in my last breath, my muscles relaxed. Then my back slammed into another hard surface. I fell to my knees, staring at my pitiful reflection in the water. One of my clips fell off during the fight, making me look like I just woke up with a bad hair day. My right sleeve was ripped off, revealing the multiple scrapes on my arm. There was even a scrape mark on my face.

This is it... I thought, struggling to breathe. I don't have enough energy to fight this guy. I-I've failed. The truth slapped me harder than a brick.

I winced as I saw the shadow of a pool of water above my head. I waited for the painful impact, but nothing came. "Your time is up princess...." he started.

"Or not."

I glanced back at him as he snapped his fingers before everything around me went white.
