*Marissa's POV*

*After School*

"What do you think he wants to talk to us about?" I asked the girls nervously as we made our way back to Miss Jones' class room.

"Honestly, I have no idea. But he seemed to like us, so that's a good sign." Emma said, also sounding a bit nervous.

"Did you guys see how pale Simon got when we all introduced ourselves?" Darcy asked.

"Good. You saw it too. I thought I was the only one." Taylor said in relief.

"What do you think that was about?" Darcy asked.

"I have no idea. But I guess we can always find out." Ally replied as we approached Miss Jones' classroom.

The door was shut, so Ally knocked on the door. When we heard a faint 'come in' we all entered the class room. And right there before us, was Simon Cowell and Miss Jones.

"Ah, good you girls are here. Please come in and shut the door behind you. Simon and I were just talking about you girls." Miss Jones said happily. A little too happily may I add.

The girls and I did as we were told and entered the class room and shut the door behind us.

"Please, have a seat." Simon said, gesturing to the desks in front of him. We nodded and took a seat.

"So you girls are probably wondering what Simon wants to talk to you about?" Miss Jones asked.

We all nodded in response.

"Well, it's very exciting. So I'll let him talk to you about it." Miss Jones said with a smile.

Okay, she has been way too happy ever since this morning.

"So, Miss Jones tells me that you girls have a dream of becoming famous singers. Is this true?" Simon asked.

Okay, slightly bitter because we told her that in hopes that she would keep it to herself. Guess she can't keep a secret when Simon Cowell comes to town.

"Uh, yeah it is." I said after a moment of silence.

"Good. I was hoping you would say that." Simon said with a slight smile.

"Why?" Ally asked, slightly dragging out the word in her confusion.

"Well, after hearing you girls perform and listening to all Miss Jones' stories on how well you girls have worked together since your freshman year, I figured I'd see how well you girls work together for myself." Simon explained vaguely.

"What do you mean by see how well we work together for yourself" Emma asked.

"Well, I would have you girls audition for the X Factor, but I think you girls are just too good for that show." Simon said.

Simon is slowly getting to where he wants us to be in the conversation, but we're just not quite there yet. Wait a minute. Never mind, the girls aren't just there yet.

"Are you trying to say what I think you're saying?" I said in disbelief, grabbing Emma and Ally who were to the left and right of me.

"Yes I am." Simon said with a huge smile.

"Oh. My. Gosh." I said slowly.

"Wait a second. What are you guys talking about?" Taylor asked in confusion.

Actually all the girls were looking at us in confusion.

"Are you guys serious? You have no idea what he's talking about?" I asked in disbelief.
