--Meeting with Simon Part 1--

*Emma's POV*

*One Month Later*

So it has been a month since Uncle Greg gave the okay for us to get signed. Since then, Simon signed us and we have been constantly working on new songs for our debut album since then. So far we have been working at a studio right here in London, so it is easy for us to commute back and forth from home. Uncle Greg has gone to the studio everyday since we started. He really is supportive. Everyday after the studio, Uncle Greg drops the girls at their houses so check in with their fathers. Then we go to my house and Uncle Greg sits with dad for a couple of hours until it is time to go to his house for dinner. It is amazing how much Uncle Greg and the rest of his family have been their for me. Uncle Greg and Aunt Denise have been like second parents to me ever since every thing happened and Theo has become like a brother to me. And the girls, they have been like sisters to me since our freshman year. It's amazing how much they have been there for me.

"EMMA!" I heard Ally yell, shaking me from my thoughts, causing me to jump.

"What?" I whined.

"Simon wants us in his office." Ally stated.

"Okay. You could have just said that. You didn't have to yell." I said.

"Sorry. I tried, but you were to busy zoning." Ally said before leaving me alone in the room.

Shaking my head, I followed her out of the room and down the hall to Simon's office.

"Good, you're all here." Simon said once we were all in his office.

"Is everything okay?" Darcy asked.

"Yeah, everything is fine. Why do you ask?" Simon asked.

"Because this is the first time you called us to your office since we started." Darcy stated.

"Don't worry. It's nothing bad. You would have known if it was." Simon replied.

"Okay. Then why are we here?" Marissa asked in confusion.

"Because I have some things to discuss with you." Simon answered.

"Such as..." Taylor said.

"I think it would be best if you guys started doing some small interviews, nothing major." Simon said.

"Are you serious?" I said in disbelief.

"Yup." Simon said, popping the 'p'.

"Do you think that that's a good idea? I mean we're still kind of new." Ally said wearily.

"That's exactly why I think it's a good idea. You guys are new. No one really knows you. Do some small interviews, do a couple of covers. What do you guys say?" Simon said encouragingly.

"Do we have a choice?" Taylor asked.

"Nope." Simon said, popping the 'p'.

"Then we think it's a wonderful idea." Taylor replied, causing Simon to chuckle a little bit.

"So, when is our first interview?" I asked.

"Well, I have an interview in a couple of hours to basically introduce you guys to the world. And then your first interview is tomorrow morning." Simon told us.

"What do you mean introduce us to the world?" Darcy asked.

"In the interview tonight, I am going to basically tell everyone that I discovered a new group. I'm going to tell them how amazing you girls are and that you guys are working on your new album that should be out within the year." Simon explained.

"Okay." Darcy replied.

"Does that sound good with everyone?" Simon asked and we just nodded.

"Yup." We all said in unison, popping the 'p'.

"Good, I already discussed all of this with Greg before you girls got here. So he knows that you girls will be doing a radio interview tomorrow morning." Simon explained.

"Okay." I replied.

"What time should Greg bring us to the interview?" Marissa asked.

"Good question because I almost forgot to tell you girls. Greg will be accompanying you to the interview tomorrow. Someone will be picking you up at around 4:30am to be there by 5 and you go on at around 6:30-7. You will be getting there early to practice a little bit before you go on because you girls will be doing a couple of covers." Simon explained.

"Okay." Was all that came out of Marissa's mouth.

"Now there is one other thing I wanted to discuss with you girls before you leave for the day." Simon said.

"What is it?" Taylor asked.

"When do you want to tell your fathers that you are now signed artists?" Simon asked, very bluntly may I add.

"We actually discussed this a couple of weeks ago. We were thinking around the time when our album came out." Ally replied.

"If you don't mind me asking, why do you girls want to wait that long to tell your fathers about all of this?" Simon asked.

"They don't like music or anything to do with music to begin with. We haven't even told them that we can sing. So imagine us telling them that we're signed artists." I told him and he suddenly looked uneasy, as if he just remembered something.

"And I don't think that they'll believe us right now if we tell them we got signed. So we think that are first album would be proof enough." Marissa added, ignoring the fact that Simon suddenly looked like he was going to throw up.

"Simon, you good. You look like you're going to throw up?" Taylor asked, also noticing how uneasy he looked.

"Um, yeah. Emma just said something that reminded me to share something with you girls before the interview tomorrow." Simon said, the uneasiness clear in his voice.

"What is it?" I asked in confusion and concern.

"Is Greg out in the hall?" Simon asked, ignoring my question.

"Yeah." I answered.

"Can you go get him? He needs to be in here when I tell you girls this." Simon said, with the same uneasiness in his voice as he had just a few moments ago.

"Yeah, sure." I said.

I got up and made my way out into the hall where Uncle Greg was waiting.

"Hey, you girls done?" He asked.

"Not exactly." I said.

"What's up?" He asked, noticing my tone was slightly off.

"Simon has something to tell has that apparently has to be said before the interview tomorrow and he needs you to be in there when he tells us." I said quickly, hoping he understood what I was saying. Thankfully he did.

"Do you know what he wants to tell yo-" Uncle Greg started to ask, but quickly cutting himself off, as if he suddenly realized what he was going to tell us.

Uncle Greg quickly walked past me and into Simon's office, with me following close behind.

"Are you seriously going to tell them now?" Uncle Greg asked firmly after barging into Simon's office.

I know these past few chapters I haven't really involved the boys, but I am planning to start to involve them some more.

I have some ideas on how to involve the boys in the future.
