--The Big Day Part 3--
*Emma's POV*
"And we are back with Our Direction." The interviewer said once we were back from the commercial, which caused the crowd to scream very loudly.
"So girls, how are you doing?" The interviewer asked.
"We're doing great." I replied with a huge smile.
"That's awesome." She said before continuing. "Now let's talk about the performance. What was that all about?"
"What do you mean?" Ally asked.
"Well for one, I didn't think you knew that song. That's a little bit before your time." The interviewer stated.
"Yeah, well, when we did a cover of the song awhile ago, we instantly had a connection with it, so we thought it be a perfect way to start off our first TV interview." Marissa explained.
"Well throughout the performance, I noticed that you girls were directing your attention to one particular spot in the crowd. Like you were singing to someone. So, was there someone specific you girls were singing too?" The interviewer asked.
We took a deep breath, then Taylor answered the question.
"Actually, yes, there was." Taylor replied.
"There were actually five people we were singing to earlier." Darcy added.
"I'm sorry. I don't know what you mean." The interviewer stated.
"Our fathers are actually out in the crowd right now." I told her.
"So why sing to your fathers?" She asked.
"Well, it's the first time hearing us perform." Ally replied.
"So they haven't heard you perform live? Have they heard your album yet?" The interviewer asked.
"Actually no. They didn't know we were famous until today." Marissa explained.
"What?" The interviewer said in shock before continuing. "How do you hide something that big? I mean it's kind of hard considering you girls are all that anyone talks about lately."
"Well, they have been going through a rough time these past few years, so we can understand why they haven't heard about our new album. But we didn't really tell them about Simon signing us from the very beginning because after their solo careers ended way back when, they hated anything to do with music or the music industry. But then something happened in our families a few years ago and they just made them worse. So today we sang one of their songs and dedicated it to them. That's why we were singing the song to them. To let them know that we were here for them." Taylor explained, a little more in depth than anyone expected.
"Wow, well I'm glad you girls had the chance to do that. I'm sure your fathers are very proud of you." The interviewer stated.
"We hope so." Darcy replied.
For the rest of the interview the girls and I talked a bit more about the album and the upcoming tour. Once we were done, we said our goodbyes to the interviewer and quickly went back stage.
"We should get going. Paul just texted me. He said your fathers faces are showing a mixture of emotions. We don't want them to see you until after the show tonight." Simon said as soon as we got backstage.
I'm kind of curious to our fathers feelings right now. I wonder what their thoughts are on what just happened. Let's hope they don't be made at us for too long.
*Zayn's POV*
*After the interview*
My daughter and her friends just got done with their performance and interview and I don't know how to feel about it. I just know this is probably the reason why Paul and Greg brought us to central park. Wait is this the reason why they brought us to New York? Did they know that they put out an album? Did they know about the interview?
