--After the Concert--
*Simon's POV*
*After the Concert*
So the concert just finished and I am now waiting for the girls in their dressing room. They were amazing out there. You couldn't even tell they were about to run for the hills right before they went on. I can't wait for the boys to see what they have accomplished in the time that we have been working together. I just hope they don't flip out at the fact that they are now famous singers. I know that the girls really care about what they think. I don't want their experience ruined just because their fathers don't like the fact that they are famous.
The sound of the door opening, followed by loud laughter shook me from my thoughts.
"Great job girls!" I said with a huge smile as they entered the room.
They just smiled as they sat down on the couches provided in the dressing room.
"Yeah, that wasn't so bad was it, was it?" I asked them.
"You guys were right! That was the best thing that has ever happened to us." Ally said excitedly.
I just smiled at Ally's reaction.
I opened my mouth to say something, but was soon cut off by Emma's grandparents entering the dressing room.
"You girls were amazing out there!" Emma's grandmother exclaimed as her and her husband entered the room.
"Thank you!" They all said in unison.
"So, how'd it feel?" Emma's grandfather asked them.
"Honestly, it was the best feeling in the world." Emma replied.
"See, it wasn't as bad as you girls thought." Emma's grandfather told them.
"You should have seen them right before they went on stage. They were literally about to make a run for it." I told him.
"Well, it's a good thing they didn't. I still can't believe how amazing you girls were." Emma's grandmother replied.
The girls just smiled widely in response.
"So girls, I have to tell you something." I said.
The girls smiles fade instantly and look at me with fear written all over their faces.
"Why do you girls look so scared?" I asked them.
"When Simon says he has to tell you something, it's either really good or really bad. You never know what's coming to you." Taylor responds.
"Well, don't worry. What I am about to say is really good. Or at least I hope it is." I said in response.
"Well get on with it then." Marissa said.
"What if I told you girls that Emma's grandparents are going to be at the interview where you are going to reveal your fame to your fathers." I said quickly.
Suddenly their eyes go wide and their jaws drop to the floor.
"Are you serious?" Emma said in disbelief.
"Yup." Her grandmother replied with a huge smile.
All of the sudden Emma screamed loudly and got up from her seat to go hug her grandparents.
"I'm guessing by that reaction, you approve of this plan." I said once Emma calmed down a little bit.
"Um, yeah." Emma said as she sat back down.
"So what made you guys want to come to that interview?" Darcy asked.
"Well, after you girls went to bed last night, we continued talking to Simon for a little while and the topic of that interview came up. Simon mentioned that you girls will be doing the interview and a song in the morning and then you have a concert that night. And we knew that we wanted to see more concerts before your tour ends, so we thought that would be the perfect concert to go to." Emma's grandmother explained.
"You mean its the perfect concert to watch our careers end right before our eyes." Ally stated. referring to the fact that their fathers are going to make them end their careers right then and there.
"Well, it's a good thing you girls won't be meeting up with your fathers until after the concert." Emma's grandfather stated.
"What do you mean?" Taylor asked in confusion.
"So on the day of the big reveal, you girls will be getting to the venue of the interview early, and obviously you won't be spending time with your fathers then because you will be surprising them during the interview. Since Paul will be in New York by then, we will be rushing you girls to the venue of the concert for soundcheck while Greg, Denise, Theo, and Emma's grandparents will be spending time with your fathers until the concert that night. So you won't be seeing them until the end of the concert." I explained.
"So wait, Aunt Denise and Theo are coming to New York too?" Emma asked.
"Yeah, I thought we went over this?" I asked.
"We might have, but I must have forgotten." Emma replied.
"Sorry to change the subject, but what you're saying is we won't get a chance to see our fathers right after the interview. We'll be seeing them hours later after the concert." Marissa said, clarifying what I just explained.
"Exactly." I replied.
"Good. I don't think I can handle their anger after the interview. Although it wouldn't be too bad seeing them after the interview. It's in a park, so there will be lots of witnesses." Marissa states.
"Forget it. There will be plenty of other witnesses with your fathers in the dressing room after your concert in New York." I stated.
We stayed silent for awhile. No one dared to talk or move. It wasn't until I looked at the time, that I realized we had to get back to the hotel.
"We should get going. We have to get up early tomorrow. We're going to the next destination of the tour." I said, standing up.
"Where are we going next?" Ally asked.
"Australia." I stated, before the girls started jumping up and down and screaming.
"I'm guessing you're excited about that." I said, slightly jumping at their screams.
"Obviously." The girls said before they exited the dressing room.
"They're just like their fathers." I stated to Emma's grandparents before we slowly followed behind the girls.
