Promise to be kept

Two weeks later

Alyssa : I had to finished my paper quickly. Finally today's the day when Lisa and Blake are getting married and I am really happy for them .
They are really lucky that they get to marry their first love . I saw Jessica waiting for me at the reception area . Even she was coming with me to support me throughout the wedding.
She is truly a real friend . We were both rushed out but I found my car no where and neither the driver could be seen anywhere . I waited for like ten minutes after which I called dad but he didn't pick up the phone and then after another ten minutes he called back.
" I am really sorry Alyssa I forgot to send the driver to pick you up . I'll send him right now" I could feel the guilt from his voice.
" No dad I'll take a cab and come . It's totally fine and I even have Jessica with me so don't worry "
" okay Alyssa if you say so but I still think I should send the driver . " dad said.
" we will take the cab now bye " and I hang up with that because I know he would never end the discussion without his win .

I looked at Jessica apologising and just then a Mercedes benz stopped in front of us and their came my loving Kaden with a huge smile.

"Oh you are a saviour Kaden I almost thought that I would miss my own sisters wedding " I said hugging Kaden .

" how can I forget my Ally and her sexy friend " he said hugging me back and winking towards Jessica. I could see her disgusted look . Poor Kaden .

" Kaden if you don't mind then can you please hurry up and take us to the venue while keeping your mouth shut" Jess said in an irritated voice .

" sure darling anything for you" Kaden said while opening the door.

We arrived at the venue just two hours before the wedding.

Jessica headed to her room to get ready while I went to Lisa's Room. I wanted to see her first and I don't even need time to get ready after all I just had to put a dress on .

As I entered the room I saw Lisa looking like a beautiful angel . I hugged her a bit too long and then I hugged mom . We were all so happy today.

Then mom went outside as dad needed some help .

I was about to leave to get dressed when Lisa suddenly stopped me and locked the door .
Then she hugged me really tightly and started crying . I was really confused with the situation but I thought she might be nervous.
Then the words which came out of her mouth that just shocked me to my core

" I don't want to marry Blake " she said in a very low voice .

" I never wanted to marry him in the first place Ally , I was really forced to marry him . Do you remember the time when we shifted here and I started modelling and acting " she said sobbing.
" yes I Lisa I remember that but why don't you want to marry him and who is forcing you . You always loved Blake so what happened now. Has something happened between you two , is he blackmailing you .........." I asked her while comforting her .

" no no no Ally . It's not like that. You remembered that papa faced some financial problems after we shifted here and therefore I had to start earning. But that wasn't enough to support all of us. So, uncle I mean Mr Adoms asked dad one of the daughters to get married to Blake and in exchange he would support him financially . I agreed at that time because I wanted to help dad . But I never realised that I never wanted such a life for myself . I never loved Blake and I can never love him ."
It was really hard to digest what Lisa said I never thought that this would ever happen. I was about to speak when Lisa interrupted me.

" Alyssa I know you always loved him so please help me in this situation and marry him in my place "

" no that's just sick and how can he just ask for one of the daughters. He could have easily offered help . Besides I can't marry him, he is in love with you and ...... today's the day of your wwwwedding . No no this can't happen Lisa and dad had promised him you. You can't do this , you can't led him down today Lisa . Blake is a really nice person, he'll gave you time to love him back. You have to try Lisa. It's too late . Think about mom and dad . They'll breakdown ." I was in tears already saying this while I kept thinking of dad, mom and Blake . No I would never marry .

She just moved her head from side to side and grabbed my hand. Then she placed it on her tummy as she said something that I never expected

" Alyssa, I am pregnant with Zach's child and it will more insulting for father if they'll know about it after the marriage or If the wedding didn't take place because of it" she now cried even harder and I already panicked at the thought. I had no idea about what to do .
" Ally please help me with this , you are the only one I could trust. Please Alyssa I beg you " she was now down on her knees . I stopped her and asked her to sit .

" I I I I'll marry Blake only if Zach's going to marry him within a month " I said and then on an instant she hugged me really tightly .

" me and zach are going to get married tomorrow. He is coming to take me with him in an hour. " she said smiling.

" but why are you running away when you can marry him with dad's permission " I asked her with confusion.

" No Ally, he won't accept us as he'll hate me after knowing this " she was really sad.

" but promise me that you won't ever tell anyone about this other wise papa would be really insulted as it they would brake the agreement. "

" don't worry Lisa I'll never do or say anything that'll ruin you and dad . I promise " I said with a tear rolling down my face .

Now I was sitting in front of the mirror looking at a women I couldn't recognise. An hour back I was Alyssa and now I am someone I never thought I would be .
Zach came up through the window and kissed Lisa immediately then he turned to me .
Wait a minute I know this guy he was with Lisa in one of her shoots and even he is a model .
" Alyssa I am really great full to you . If it weren't for you then we won't ever be together. "
Zach said while hugging me and Zach gave me a locket as a gift .
I was about to thank them when I heard a knock on the door.

" Lisa open up the door it's time for your wedding darling " moms voice came in and Lisa hugged me and left immediately.

I was at loss of words when she again knocked. With a heavy heart I opened the door and mom's eyes went wide and she went inside in search of Lisa and then she slapped me across the face and pulled me towords dad's room where he was waiting for Lisa with a gift in his hand and when his eyes looked up till my face . He was about to fall and both me and mom rushed towards him but he brushed my hand of and said with pleading eyes
" Alyssa please tell me Lisa is here some where this is some kind of joke that you are playing "
I just closed my eyes for a sec and then holding the locket I said
" dad I asked Lisa to leave because I wanted to marry Blake. I love him and Lisa was taking him from me "
With that I was slapped again by my mom and she constantly accused me for this situation and all the trouble that Lisa is going through.
" I have to inform Mr Jensen about this " he said leaving the room by giving last glance full of betrayal.
I was shattered into pieces with his one look .
