Was Never Enough

I am strong

Alyssa : mom cried continuously " it's time for the wedding and my Lisa isn't even here. It's just because of you Alyssa that our family will be insulted today . Your father who was so proud of you both is now ashamed because of you and your silly love" she said sobbing.

Without a word I just went towards the hall and was walking on the aisle and then I saw him standing he was looking towards me . My heart melted at his thought he liked Lisa so much and now I am the one who is marrying him instead of Lisa . He would be so heart that his feelings were never returned . I would never tell him about this ever in my life .

When the priest said " you may kiss the bride "
This is the moment after which everything changes . The guy that I never wanted to love again is my husband and he hates me .
I am not even his first choice in fact I am forced upon him . I don't know what my life will turn into after this but I know one thing that it can never be the normal married life that I always wanted .

When he lifted my vail he just stood their and stared at me in shock. He stared into my eyes as if searching for something but then he looked behind me and the next minute he cupped my face and kissed me .

I could hear all the applauds and cheers that emerged from the crowd but I didn't have it in me to look up .
But then I felt some pain and I looked down where I saw Blake's hand grabbing it tightly , I tried to free my self from his grip without letting anyone to notice it . I was successful but then he wrapped his arm around my waist realy tightly and started taking me towards the crowd.

When we were in an isolated corner I tried to free myself again but he came close to my face and said

" you love me right Alyssa then why are you running away . You forced Lisa to leave because you loved me and now I'll make sure you leave because of the hatred I feel towards you "
For everyone it looked like we were kissing but the reality was way opposite. A tear rolled down my face .
For a while I thought that maybe in future we could change . It might take some time but our relationship would definitely work out .
But then he said something that completely changed my view
" darling save that tear for the rest of your life cause now I'll make sure you cry every single day you'll spend with me " I could see the hatred in his eyes.

You have to make it work Alyssa . You have to do it for your family your sister . With that thought I brought a smile to my face and stopped crying . He can cause me pain physically but mentally I knew I am strong and he can't break me that easily .

He continued holding me tightly after a while he got tired of his hard grip and removed his hand from my waist .

Then it was time for the first dance of ours as husband and wife. He bend down on his knees and asked for the dance .
I was enjoying him like that , I let him wait for a bit but as soon he was about to take his hand back I gave in and held his hand winking and smirking towards him in a manner to tell him that I won this one .
I shiver went down my body as I touch held his hand . Why does it always happens when I touch him I really don't understand.

As he stood up again I could see the anger and embarrassment in his eyes but then he smirked in a devilish manner . Oh no something is gonna happen .

I wanted to run away but in one swift motion he brought me just in front of him and bend down at my height and then he started kissing me .

I was surprised with this sudden change in emotion but soon he bit my lip hard . If he did it an harder it would have bleed.

" Al note that in your small mind that no one smirks at me or try an make fun of me . This was just for your stupid smirk but now I'll show you what embarrassment is darling " he spoke very harshly and with another peck on my lips . He took me towards the dance floor and then he held my hand and started dancing.

I can dance really well but no one in this world knows that not even Jess.
I am a trained dancer in many dance forms . I saved my money and took dancing classes. My parents never wanted me to dance and always forced me to study but they didn't know that my maths tutions were actually dance class.

Blake thought that I don't know how to dance like everyone else and thought that he could embarrass me .
We dance together for a while and he was amazed that I could dance so well.
The song was coming to an end and he has the hint of devilish look in his eyes and then made both of us bend a little it looked like he'll kiss again but I knew he was going to drop me .

And as he did what I expected I pulled him down with me and we both landed on the ground with him on the top .
Everyone started laughing and cheering.
I was so close to Blake and so I said
" Blake you wanted to embarrass me and see who ended up getting embarrassed. So Blake now you note this in your big brain that no one can ever challenge me " I gave him my biggest smile and then pushed him away from me .

Then Kaden immediately came towards me helping me to stand .
Now Blake was alone on the floor as I headed up with Kaden.

Blake then stopped me and grabbed my hand . He eyed Kaden to leave which he did . Then he took the mick and started speaking
" I wanted to announce this earlier but I was so in love with her that I never got the chance of correcting her name as the priest spoke . Her name was misunderstood as Lisa as in her sisters but....."
He waited and looked into my eyes and cupped my face with his free hand and I could see everyone had this confused expression on their face .
" her name is Alyssa. My beautiful wife Alyssa . " he continued and we both went down towards our seating area .

" now wasn't that embarrassing Alyssa" he said in a voice .
I very confidently stated
" no it wasn't"

He just stood up and went somewhere immediately.

The rest of the night went well and I did not had any more encounters with Blake and his ego . I didn't know from where I get that confidence from . I could never even say a word with out stammering to him and now I had challenged him myself . I knew I was in danger but I wanted to enjoy the time that was left before he comes back.

I was sitting with Jess as I told her everything that happened earlier. She was really upset that I was forced to marry him . But she was excited with what was going to happen in the future .

The party ended soon and mostly every one left . I hugged Jessica as she was leaving. She just gave me the assurance that everything was going to be fine.

During the party our whole family ignored us and never even came near us or said a word .
And now it's time to meet them and hear them out as after everyone left we went back to the main hall . Where everyone was seated with this disgusted look towards us . I don't know what is going to happen to us but I just hope for the best .
