Blake : I looked around once again to be sure but she really was gone and she even took my laptop and files with her. I wanted to call her back home but then I remembered that I was the one who smashed it on the wall and now I can't even contact her or Cole .

Just in a second I was so furious . She is the only person who can change my mood with just a click of the fingers .

I hate her more now but I should at least go and check how she creates a fool out of herself in front of the investors. I quickly grabbed my car keys and headed downstairs.

The drive seemed to be so long, every time I tried to race my car there was traffic jam and I had to wait there with patience but that was so hard in my situation . I can't even count the number of people that I have shouted on today .

By the time I reached office it was 11:00am already and I knew that the meeting could start any moment . The meeting must have already started while I still stood there, waiting for the elevator to arrive. I jumped in the moment it arrived and quickly pressed the floor number . This elevator needs a hell lot of update . I'll just have to keep that in mind.

Soon I was in front of the conference room . I waited for a moment to catch my breath and then entered the room. The room fell silent as everyone brought their attention towards me .

I walked in with as much confidence as I could have . I admit I was a bit nervous as this meeting would affect my whole life and I am late in it .

I apologised to everyone in the room and the investors nodded in acceptance. Then I headed over the other end, where I had to sit . I searched around where everyone was seated to check if Alyssa and Cole were here . Cole was sitting in front of me while Al was nowhere to be seen . All the seats were filled except the one right besides me . I wanted to ask Cole about her when I heard a voice which increase my heartbeat to thrice it's speed .

" I'll start again for Mr Jensen to catch up . So as I was explaining you all about, how we can import our resources from countries where we might have a comparative cost advantage than employing thousands of worker with high salaries. This would thus decrease our cost of production and increase the profit margin and then we could even ........" my head automatically turned upwards towards her direction and there she was standing in front of the table explaining each and every concept in an expertise manner . Like she had been doing it for years . She didn't seemed to be nervous instead she looked confident about all the offers that we were providing the investors. The first thing that is required in business is to have confidence in whatever the idea is. Such that even if it is impossible or unrealistic in reality  but the ones investing must be interested and believing the story that we provide them.

I was mesmerized with the way she explained each and every point to perfection. She kept glancing at my side but quickly use to turn her gaze in the other direction whenever I would try to make eye contact.

She was looking so intimidating in a really sexy manner . The suit fitted her body perfectly and she looked a real professional and a pure gem.

She is really a gem and she is my gem . She is all mine . No Blake, get a grip what are you even thinking . It's just her excellence in her work, just that and nothing else . With that I diverted my attention more towards the investors ignoring Alyssa .

Alyssa: I was extremely nervous when I entered the office . I quickly went over to the reception to enquire about the meeting .
" hello ma'am how may I help you " she asked with a small smile .

" can you please tell me the way towards the conference hall and please check the status of the 11 am meeting " she looked at me with wide eyes and then went back to her computer to recheck about it .
