I was dismissed early by my teacher so I decided to wait for you by the lockers outside of your classroom.

The moment you exited your classroom, you flashed me another bright smile.

Stop smiling like that, it's making my stomach do flips for some reason.

Lunch with you was awkward at first, mainly because we've never had a proper conversation and partially because of the fact that everyone was staring at us since we were always labeled as 'enemies'.

"Honestly, I don't get how we'd automatically be enemies just because of some stupid ranking shit" I remember you mutter to me at one point in a random conversation.

It was awkward at first but towards the end it was filled with nothing but jokes and laughter.

The bell had already rung and while were walking back to our classrooms, you were doing ugly facial expressions that I giggled at.

Despite us hanging out we never made contact. The most was our shoulders brushing as we walked.

And even then, one of us would usually step a bit to the side.

But you did this pouty face that I just found plain adorable and at that moment, I couldn't help but pinch your cheek.
