Z's Point of View

When I saw Lacey walk into the school I couldn't stop staring at her. I mean she look even better than she did yesterday. I was staring so hard that Malik told me to stop staring before I caused her to look my way. I wouldn't mind if she saw me staring but then she would figer out that I like her. I remember getting a call from Danielle yesterday. She told me we almost got caught and she told me that I had to let Malik know that he has to act like he likes Lacey. I let him know but I also told him not to catch feeling. He told me that he has feelings for someone else. I knew who he was talking about. He was talking about Tina.

I took this picture earlier. When class started I couldn't stop thinking about her. I was staring even more now. I studied her every move. I know I may seem like I am stalking her but I am not it's just when you like someone you will do just about anything to get close to them or to get to know them. After class ended I went to my locker jus to stare at Lacey.

Lacey: Why are you always fucking staring at me.

Z: I am just studying you so I can report back to Malik and tell him everything you be doing.

Lacey: He can do that himself. Why you acting like his little puppy?

Z: I ain't acting like nobody puppy.

Lacey: Yes you are.

Z: No I'm not.

After I said that Ren came running up to me.

Ren: Lacey get away from my boyfriend.

Lacey: You go with Ren?

Z: No.

Lacey: Well it sure seems that way.

Z: Why you worried? Are you jealous?

Lacey: Why would I be jealous? I'm not interested in you. I just didn't take you as the hoe type?

Ren: I ain't no hoe.

Lacey: Yes you are. You have slept with a lot of boys at this school. Now that I think about it you have slept with almost every boy in this school.

Ren:  I hate you so much.

After Ren said that she left.

Ren: Hey baby.

Z: I ain't your baby. I don't even like you.

Ren: I know you don't but every girl in the school likes you so I have to make it seem like you like me so all them other girls can bag off especially Lacey.

Z: No offense Ren but I like black girls. Meaning I like Lacey.

Ren: You are being racist.

Z: No I'm not. I am just telling you that every white girl I have been with has cheated on me.

Ren: I won't cheat on you.

Z: Ren you are the biggest hoe at this school. Yes you will. 

And with that I walked away and went to lunch.

I went to go sit beside Lacey.

Lacey: So how was your hoe?

Z: I don't go with Ren and I don't like Ren. Besides I have my eyes on someone.

Danielle, Adrian,Tina, and Malik we're staring at us both.

Lacey: Ooooo Z who the lucky girl.

Z: Out of all the people that I could tell. Why the fuck would I tell you?

Lacey: Because even though I don't like you at all you can trust me.

Z: You can shove that trust up your ass.

Lacey: I just remembered I still owe you from last night.

Lacey punched me on my arm so hard that some tears were coming out my eyes.

Danielle, Adrian, Tina, and Malik were all laughing.

Lacey: I told you I was go get you.

Z: I got you. You just wait.

After lunch we all went to our last class.

The teacher told us that we were going on a field trip to Hollywood to learn how to act because the school was going to throw a play and everyone was going to be in it. The teacher said we was go be gone a whole week and that we were going to be staying at a hotel. He said we could go down to the pool on our own time if we had a group and if we stayed together. He passed out permission slips that our parents had to sign in order for us to go.

The bell ring and it was time for us to go home.

Lacey walked up to me.

Lacey: So are you going to tell me who this girl is?

Z: Nope.

Lacey: You can at least give me a hint.

Z: Lacey give up I won't tell you.

Lacey: Fine I will find out on my own.

And then she left.
