I went down stairs and I was surprised by what I saw. I saw John wrapping his arms around my mom from behind. I tried to ingore that he had his hands on my her in that way.
Lacey: Good Morning
Mom: Oh Lacey don't do that
Lacey: Don't do what I live here too you know.
Mom: Lacey you know what I mean.
Lacey: No I don't know what you mean.
John: She means don't scare her like that.
Lacey: I didn't ask you to explain it for me.
Mom: Lacey don't speak to him like that.
Lacey: Speak to him like what? He needs to learn his place over here because he doesn't live here.
Mom: He will be soon.
Lacey: Whatever mom I'm going to school.
Mom: But you didn't eat breakfast.
Lacey: I'd rather not eat breakfast with him around.

I walked out the house and slammed the door behind me. I didn't have time for all that shit this morning. I got in my car and left.
I went into the school to find Danielle and Tina waiting for me.
Danielle: I heard about what happened. Are you alright?
Lacey: I really don't want to talk about it right now. And how did you know.
Tina: Joshua filled us in.
Danielle: When you are ready to talk about it you know where to find me.
Lacey: Right now I just want to stay at this school as long as possible.
I went to biology class and say down in my chair.
Teacher: Hello everyone today we have a new student by the name of Tyler. I want everyone to make him feel welcome to Crawford High.
When I looked up I saw the one of the most finest boys I have ever seen. I mean he was cute. When Ren See's him she go be all over him. He was cute and all but like I said I don't have time for boys. Well I don't have time for them anymore.

I ain't go lie the boy was cute. But I wasn't interested.
Teacher: Tyler you can go sit right beside Lacey Lang.
Out of all the people the boy could sit beside why did it have to be me.
Teacher: Lacey raise our hand so he will know who to sit by.
I raised my hand while looking in my book. Tyler came and sat by me. I didn't pay him any attention.
Teacher: Lacey I want our show Tyler around the school. Tyler if you have any questions about the school ask Lacey. Lacey I want you to be nice to Tyler and welcome him in our school.
Lacey: So does this mean he has to follow me around all day.
Teacher: Yes
Wow this is just what I needed. A boy that I don't even know to follow me around all day on top of that my mom getting married on top of that having a step dad.
Today is just not my day.
