It was a long night for the most part. Ruby was considerate enough to lighten my mood and took us to a strange part of the forest. It was full of regular berries -- as far as regular goes.

I mean surprise was not quite the term to describe of what spread through my nerves when I saw the most gigantic strawberry of my existence.

The strawberry was so generous in size it was three times larger than my head -- and I certainly did have quite a big head.

When I tried to collect it from the stem it remained stuff, glued to the tip of the trunk, and none of my strength could get it off. But then Ruby could, he picked up several blueberries and was in middle of divulging on them when I called for my favourite dragon.

"A little help here!" The red dragon gave me a blank look and returned to munching on the berries, slurping each one in one huge gulp.

"Please!" I tried again but there was no response.

I averted my eyes back to the tall green branch and narrowed my eyes on the delicious strawberry. I began climbing the stem like a rope, my body sweating as I reached the top. Ignoring the slight tremble in my fatigued muscles I jumped and reached out to hug the strawberry.
The smell was mouth-watering, and I wanted to take a bite of it right there.
I pressed my nose to the brightly red surface and inhaled so loudly the dragon below me snorted.

"Oh shut it you down there." I sank my teeth into the strawberry, taking a mouth-full of the fruit and chewing.
I choked on the red berry as my hands slipped and I collapsed to the ground.

The dragon was howling with laughter.

"YOU-" cough.

"-DISRESPECTFUL-" cough, cough.

"-CRUDE-" cough.

"DRAG- ACHOO!" The piece of chewed up berry shot from my throat and landed coaxed in disgusting saliva on top of the Ruby's nose.

With a panicking shrill the cherry dragon turned a sick colour of green and threw up right onto my chest.

"EW-W-W-W-W-W!" I couldn't even lift my hands as they stuck together with sickly blue substances.

Undigested Blueberries.

After several hours of me literally arguing with the dragon that I couldn't understand we sort of came to a mutual agreement that seemed to form our little acquittance.

Ruby took us to a river where I washed myself the best I could, whilst I did, the florid dragon gathered heaps of berries into his paws.

We returned just at the sunrise, Earth Elementals have already woken up, including Owen.

"Alright, Alright you can send off your search parties I'm here and I'm well." I laughed tiredly, looking down at Owen who only crossed his arms and arched an eyebrow.

"I did not send anything." There was a stab of an ache in my heart, but I did not let it get to me.

I slid down the dragon's back and threw a huge strawberry into his hands, he caught it in shock.

"I brought breakfast!" I ignored Owen's further comment to stop in my tracks as I handed berries to people that seemed to be extremely surprised but did not argue as they took a good look at the deliciousness.
