'Sirens.

Naturally it is the way of the siren to lure and eat humans. To do this, they are equipped with the ability to use their voice of persuasion to command a human to do their bidding.

Sirens have over time grown capable of living on land and out of the water. However, once a siren leaves the sea, if and when the siren on land drinks human blood, they can no longer go back to the sea as it is said that the sea will stop at nothing to kill the siren for abandoning its home.

For sirens, killing humans is most certainly unnecessary and controllable.

Additional Notes:

-Like few creatures of this earth, sirens are destined to bond themselves to a partner which will only effectively work with other like species.

-Bonding is made through biting the mark area during intercourse. Mating is made through mutual acceptance (*please see exceptions).

-Once bonded, the sirens will become 'dangerously inseparable'. If separated for a long period of time, mentality and health begins to deteriorate.

-When sirens are bonded and together, they receive accelerated health benefits and comfort from their partner.

-In rare cases, sirens may sense when their partner is in danger or under stress as they themselves will also feel the small brunt of it depending on their distance/amount.

-Creating another bond after an already existing bond will cause complications. Upon learning of the act, the primary partner (if still existent) will become aggressive and will kill the unfaithful.

"These are some pretty specific notes on us, Jinnie. Are you sure you're not one of us?" You asked as you put his journal down.

You stare at the doctor as he's writing up something about you on his folder. He perks his eyes up at you, "Believe me, if I were one of you guys, I wouldn't be a doctor. I'd probably be some world class singer charming people all around the world with my voice—as if my face wasn't enough."

A giggle released itself past your lips, "Yeah, you're right."

A worried look plagues across Jin's face as he skips past several pages as if he was comparing data, "I'm going to need to up your dosage again. Do you still have the wine I mailed to you?"

"Yeah. I got all twenty of them still in my basement. Why, what's up?" You ask as you swing your left leg over your right one.

"Just asking. I recommend you keep a few upstairs, too, for emergencies."

"And have Jimin chug it or his coworkers accidentally drink it?! Hell no."

"Y/N."

"Fine. But still. What's with the worried look, doc?"

"I just, I'm afraid your body is adapting again. As always. It keeps getting used to whatever brand of pills I give you. And again, as I told you.. these pills? You can't rely on them. They're meant to control the urge to feed too much— not completely. If your body adapts to this last brand, by the time you have to learn to control yourself you'll be out of options, lost and inexperienced. Once its effect wears off and it's fully out of your system, you'll notice. Human blood for sirens is much more of a force to be reckoned with than you realize."

There Jin was. Going on and lecturing again.

"Y/N. Your body especially.. it's the most adaptive but also most unpredictable one I've ever dealt with. Please, heed my advice. Start getting used to blood now. It takes more than a few weeks sometimes months to—"
