When you got to the pier, you, Jimin and Yoongi stood still for a few minutes while everyone else lined up to get into the ship. The cruise ship itself was huge and towered over all of you as you stood on land. It was bigger than any building you had ever seen and probably half the height of a skyscraper in your eyes. Neither of you had ever seen one up close, but you didn't think it was going to be this massive.

Though, that wasn't the only reason you all had stopped.

You looked towards the sea that was truly beautiful but darkeningly so despite how sunny it was out. Each of you had heard the childhood stories about many curious souls leaving the sea, and trying to return. Unfortunate that each journey ended in turmoil or some form of horrendous consequence. Most of the time, though, it ended in death.

You watched as another ship was arriving in the distance. You could only assume it was about the size of the one in front of you, but it seemed so small compared to the ocean. No matter how big this ship was, you still feared the worse.

"They're just stories, right?" Jimin mumbled as he held your arm tight.

"Stories." Yoongi scoffed, "A tsunami almost killed me. I got amnesia for years because of a giant wave."

Right. When Yoongi went away, a tsunami hit the city he was in. You never thought to ask for the details, and that was only because you assumed he wouldn't remember anything. He never brought it up either.

"That could be just a huge coincidence..?" Jimin tried to lighten up the situation.

"Of course." You said as you looked at the ship again. It was only going to be a week. Just seven days. A short few—who the fuck does math to know how many—hours on the water.

You sighed as you held your luggage tight in your hand. You had brought two bags. One with wheels and one as a carry-on. The same went for Yoongi and Jimin.

The trip was open for everyone in the class, but the ones who won the contest were paid in full, and would get to sing at the festival. The actual event was going to take place once you got to your destination, but on the ship, the professor said you were all more than welcome to sing other songs in the open mics that were held almost every night.

You watched everyone look at the ships enormity. Taehyung, being the person he is, looked into the distance and took a few pictures with his phone.

"Yah, you guys nervous?" Jin laughed as he swung an arm over your shoulder.

You looked at him with pursed lips. Of course Jin had heard the stories, too. You even told him some.

"Shush. It's not like you're the one who would possibly get killed by water." You complained.

Now wasn't the time or place to bring up what Yoongi saw in the bus earlier. There was too much people around to talk fully about it. That, and you were way too distracted by your fears of being on the ocean. You would have to bring it up later.
