As you hear him closing the door of the bathroom, you put the glasses in the sink then walk back to the sofa. During the walk back, though, the lights suddenly shut off. Darkness surrounds you and you can't see a thing.
"Uhh.." You call out loudly.
Fear of darkness wasn't a thing for you, but fear of the unknown was. You feel around the air for something or anything to grab onto.
You hear a door open and it's Taehyung, "Hey are you guys okay?"
"Yeah!" You answered but Hoseok didn't. You figured he was still changing.
"It's the storm." You hear Jungkook say to Taehyung. "It's the whole city."
"Ah, I'll get you all some candles."
"Okay!" You yell out.
"What's going on?" Hoseok says behind you. You hear him tapping things and he's probably trying to find his way to you.
"I guess it's a brownout. Jungkook said the whole city is down and it's because of the storm." You explain.
Out of nowhere your phone rings and it scares everyone.
"Oh my go—oh jeez.." You hear Hoseok say.
You follow the sound of your phone then grab it. It's Jimin so you answer quickly.
"Jimin? What's wrong? Are you okay?" You ask.
"Y/N, I'm sorry. I lied, I'm not with a coworker, I'm.. with Yoongi.."
"What?! What do you mean you're with Yoongi?! Wait are you guys in the city?" Your heart races in your chest when you remember Yoongi doesn't do well in the dark. "Jimin stay away from Yoongi!"
"I-I know, I locked myself in his bathroom! What's going on?" Jimin asked.
"Y/N? Whose with Yoongi?" You hear Hoseok ask.
"Jimin.." You reply then get back to the call. "Just relax Jimin."
You check to see that your phone battery is running out. "Shit, Jimin my phone's dying."
"Give me his number." Hoseok says as he goes to find his phone in the darkness. When he does, you see his screen light up and you relay him Jimin's number.
"Jimin, give me a second to call you back." You say then use Hoseok's phone to call him. He answers immediately.
"Y/N? I can tell he's still outside the door." Jimin whispers. "He.. he has a knife with him. We were in the kitchen and the second it got dark, he freaked out. He just started yelling and we weren't really in good terms so—"
"Jimin, don't worry. Can you put me on speaker and slide the phone near or under the door?"
As much as you wanted to ask why they were together, now wasn't the time.
