Hi. My name is Skylar Camden but most people call me Sky. I am 13 years old and am 5'6 with mid-waist, wavy, strawberry blonde hair. I have light blue eyes and an uneven smile and thick black glasses.
I live in Thunder Bay Canada with my mom, dad, and brother. My mom, Alissa, is 37 with dark brown hair and brown eyes. She's the manager at sears and works a lot.
My dad, Jacob, is 38 with light brown hair and brown eyes. He's the co-producer of some music company. I don't know a lot about his work but he works from home mostly which is awesome.
My brother, Dylan, is 17 with light brown hair and brown eyes. He is in his senior year of high school and wants to become a mechanic.
As you can tell I look nothing like my family. My parents say I get it from my great great grandmother who had strawberry blond hair and blue eyes.
Most people think I'm adopted which makes for awkward table conversations but the looks on their face is priceless.
Most people think I like to read because I have glasses, but they're wrong. I absolutely love to read. The only thing I love more than reading is hockey. Which is what this story is about.
This is the story about when I got to play in the junior goodwill games for Canada.
