"What do you mean? She knows?" Damian questions.

"Yeah kid. I don't know how but women tend to pick up on a guys feelings. Jack picked up on mine way before I did." Jason laughs.

Damian looked down in thought and then shook his head a bit. "Nah..." he mumbles.

Jason gives him a questionable look and smirks. "Whats with the questions? I'm getting the feeling there is a girl involved and I thi-"

"Shut up Todd." Damian scolds. "It was just a question."

"Yeah a series." He chuckles.

"I just don't think...no I DO NOT believe a woman figures out a guys feelings before they do. They can't read minds."

"You know nothing about women do you?" Jason asks rhetorically. "They spend less time on their own feelings because they are trying to figure out yours." 

"What a waste of time." Damian scoffs. "Thats so..idiotic."

"Trust me Damian, you'll learn. You won't see it but she will and as hard headed as you are you'll try and push them down."

"I can't push down what won't happen." Damian replied

"You won't be saying that for long." Jason says standing to his feet. "Look, I'm gonna call Roy and see if he's heard anything from Jacklyn."

"Didn't she say she needed time?" Damian asks rhetorically.

"Yeah but I want him to make sure she's safe."

"Have fun." Damian says standing up and walking towards his room just as Jason did.

Just as Damian was getting ready to go train he got a phone call from Valarie.

"Damian...I need you to come over right now!" she whispers shakily.

"What? I was there like forty five minutes ago." Damian replied.

"There are people in my house and they have a guns...I hiding but I think he knows where I am...plea-"

Whoa Whoa." Damian says a little loudly. "What are you talking about? Are you serious? Where are-"

"Damian I don't know what to do-"

"Did you call the cops?"

"Yeah but the call got interrupted. I'm in the basement and he-they walking around upstairs. Casper-"

"Don't worry about the cat, woman. I'll be right over ok. Are you hit?"

"Yeah," She heard Damian sigh. "What are you gonna do?"

"Put some pressure on hit and shut up and stay quiet. No matter what you hear don't leave the basement. Understand?"

And then he hung up.

Heading towards the stairs he knocked on Jason's door.

"Whats up?" he asks. 

"Break in at Valarie's. She's hiding and hit and they have guns."

"Lead the way." Jason says grabbing his helmet and leather jacket.
