I wanted to apologize for my absence. I've literally been a ghost on here. With the upcoming holidays I am super busy and barely have time to update.
At the same time I want to take a break because there are some things I need to take care of Because I have been forced on this very emotional roller coaster that I wasn't prepared for.
As much as I love writing and wattpad it hasn't been my priority lately. I need to take some time and examine myself and do some self care because as of right now, my focus for the past three months has not been on me.
Updates won't be as frequent but I promise; once I get myself together I will be right back on wattpad updating and a whole new story will be out by then.
Anyway, ENJOY

The next DAY...
Valarie knocked on the door to the Waynes house. Alfred opened it and welcomed Valarie inside.
"Good morning Alfred." She greet and greeys her back.
"Coffee Val?"
"No thanks." She replied.
"Make yourself at home. Jacklyn just woke up and is in the shower." Alfred said.
"Maybe I will take that coffee." Valarie says with a small smile.
Within seconds, Alfred had come back with a nice hot cup of coffe
Thanking him, Valarie sat down and straighten out her mini skirt. Just as she looked up, Damian had walked through the door.Shirtless he was nice and toned with drops of sweat, dripping from his face. Valarie gulped and dazed at his abdomen and the hard pack of flesh laying neatly on his stomach. Damian's hair was ungeled but soaked in sweat that made her heart thump.
"Sweet mercy..." She muttered. Realizing she had said it out loud she took a sip of her coffee and took out her phone, pretending to text.
Damian smirked and decided to put on a little shower for his amusement. Slowly, he began to stretch his arms and his legs. Running his fingers through his hair to push it out of the way, Damian made his way to the kitchen.
Valarie follows him with her eyes taking in every angle.
Stop...
Her body began to get this electric feeling while watching Damian walk.
Put on a shirt.
She wanted to say but was waiting for him to turn around just a bit just to catch a glance of those beautiful green eyes.
"Ice?" He asks
Shaking her head out of that quick daze, Valarie looked at him in confusion. "What?"
"The coffee, its not iced. Do you want some?"
"No but what I would like is if you put on a shirt." She spat taking another sip going back to scrolling on her phone
He let out a light chuckle. "Is it distracting?" Damian asks, genuinely curious
"No, its just gross. You stink and I think a shirt would do everyone Justice to mask that awful smell."
"Dance." Damian stated making his way over to the small closet.
"Dance? I don't follow.'' Valarie replies placing her phone flat down on her skirt.
"Tonight after the announcement, you will dance with me."
"Ha!" She then scoffed folding her legs. "You must be joking."
"Am I?" He questions
"Damian, I don't dance."
"You do and you will." He replied slipping on a jacket making his way towards the curly haired beauty
"I don't dance." Valarie says once again folding her arms and standing to her feet. "But," she then said walking over to him. "I will with a date."
A shocked but alluring look crosses Damian's face as she grins seductively. "Are you asking me to be your date?"
"Hmm." She taps her finger nail on her chin. "I guess I'll have to see when I get there."
Just as he was about to respond, Jacklyn came down the stairs still drying her hair.
"Let me just grab some rice cakes and we'll be good to go. But we might have to stop for a milkshake." She says, running her fingers through the wavy curls. Looking up she saw both of them staring at her. "Did I miss something?"
"No." Damian says. "Have fun. I'll see you both later on today." He said
Jacklyn grabs the rice cakes and takes a bite. "I'll be at the middle of the dance floor." Valarie says just as they leave.
With her shoes still in her hand and a rice cake in her mouth, Jack gives her a dissatisfied look.
"You guys are killing me.''

"I don't understand why you didn't put in flip flops or sandles." comments Valarie
"My ankles are the size of Texas. I'd rather take my chances with boots."
They both share a laugh. "So, for you know the gender?"
"No. I will find out in a couple weeks." Replied Jack "Im pretty sure they're both girls. They run a long line on my side of the family."
"You must have thought of names." Valarie says
"Well a little. I like Taylor and Cameron, but that would be as middle names." Jack replied, "Jason wants to keep the J's going."
"Well, you have a while before you actually have to decide." replied Valarie. "How about Justin or Jared."
With an approving look, Jack nods making Valarie laugh.
"I don't know if I'll be able to stay long at the auction tonight." Valarie gave her a puzzled look wanting Jack to elaborate some more. "We have to finish packing. We've decided to move to Iceland for a while."
"Really?" Valarie asks. "Wow...any reason why?"
"Gotham is crazy and I don't want to raise a child where the Joker, Two face and the penguin run around terrorizing people."
"They're hasn't been a sighting in a while you know." Giggled Valarie as they pull into the parking lot.
"You sound like Bruce. We're just looking out for their future. Besides, their aren't that many people who support my pregnancy. Besides Bruce, Tim, Dick and the others...its
just to much.""Did you tell Damian? I know how close you guys are."
Laughing a bit she shook her head. "No, I'm afraid I haven't had the time."
Valarie nods understanding. Her parents did the same when they moved to Gotham. It was a necessary move, not only for business purposes but also to look out for the years to come.
"I hate dresses by the way." Jack said as they got out.
"Oh come on. Just a few and I promise they'll be in black. I won't make you wear a colored one."
Shoutout to you! Thank you for voting. Hope you are enjoying the story
