"Just...just shut up."
Just as he grabs her face she freezes, dropping her heels on the ground. How close Damian's lips were from touching hers. Their breaths mixing in the air and at this very moment she felt like the world stopped.
Breath on Valarie's face and his thumbs over her cheeks she didn't dare try and stop what was happening.
So much intimacy was all in this moment. Valarie didn't talk nor did Damian in fear of ruining it.
Damian swallowed and she felt the pad of his thumb wipe across her face so gingerly. His piercing green eyes gazing into hers and his lips partners to speak,
"Valarie," That name came out of his mouth so sweetly it made her brain hurt. He shook his head with a small sarcastic smile. Of course now she couldn't talk. This was the first time he had said her name...it made her insides warm and just by sharing the same air so close to him she didn't shake it off.
Valarie touched his wet hand that layed on her wet caramel colored skin. Her lips parted just a bit and they continued to stare.
Pull away...

Their thoughts pounding against their head. But why?
They didn't want to. They enjoyed the presence of eachother. Drenched in liquid the two didn't move.
"Damian..." She whispers his name so smoothly
"Shut up." He says back making her heart melt.
Kiss him Val...just a few inches
This powerful urge came over her and it made her nose twitch with anticipation. This close she could kiss him...
Why? Why now?
What would his lips feel like pressed against mine? She wondered
How can I pull away from this? Damian thought
Neither of them planned on moving because this was perfect.
To bad they didn't have a choice.
Damian's head snapped back as the engine of a loud car came reeving from behind. Gun shots were heard and instinctively, Damian covered Valarie's body with his own.
"Get down!" He shouts in the process.
Screaming, they both begin to run. The shots were still firing in her direction loudly.
Tripping on a curb Valarie fell face first and the shooting stopped.
Rushing to her aid, Damian lifted her up.
"I'm fine... I think." She says as he helps her to her feet.
"Come. We'll wait in the store across the street." Damian said taking a hold of her hand, sprinting accross the busy street.
"Alfred." Damian says. "We're at Niko's. Its a couple blocks from the house, do you mind coming to pick us up?"
