Today was the big day.

You wanted to say you were excited, but you were more nervous than anything.  You couldn't say no to Hoseok when he asked you to come along.  He said he needed you there as a good luck charm.  You weren't sure how much luck you would actually bring, but you did have your reasons for coming.

If it would make Hoseok happy, then it was worth it.  He had done so much for you, so it was the least you could do. Plus, for as talented as Jungkook was, he was also equally as anxious about sharing his talents.  You knew he needed someone there to help support him.  You also knew that he would never ask you himself.  You were actually glad that Hoseok had posed the idea because it was your way of getting in there to help your twin... And also maybe comfort Hoseok, should he need it.

The audition was in the city, so you knew there was no way to escape public transportation.  With some coaxing, Jungkook managed to get you onto the bus, leaving Hoseok very confused.  You knew he wasn't one to ask questions and he didn't.

You managed to conceal your overwhelming anxiety by nudging yourself into Jungkook who held you tightly around the shoulder.  You glanced over to Hoseok who was seated next to you and it seemed that he was pouting... Could he actually be jealous of your brother?  He didn't seem to be the type, but the look on his face spoke multitudes.

You didn't like the look so you did your best to get rid of it.  A simple hand to hold seemed to do the trick.  Your fingers intertwined with his, and his smile once again radiated from his face.  All was good again.

Well, everything except the fact that you were having trouble breathing.  You did your best to hide this, not wanting either of them to worry about you.  But with the thoughts rushing around in your head and the memories of Taehyung that were triggered by the event, you couldn't escape the panic.  It was quickly consuming you.

However, there was no way you were going to let them worry about you.  Not on a day like this.  Not on their day.  You were not going to be the one to ruin it.

You dug your face into Jungkook's shoulder, hoping that blocking out the sights would help to relax you.  It was somewhat of a relief, but the blackness still couldn't silence your thoughts.

Before you knew it, the bus stopped, and your body rocked forward a bit.  Your eyes shot open, and you practically rushed off of that bus.  Jungkook and Hoseok followed swiftly behind you.

Thankfully, it was the right stop.  It would've been a mess had it not been.

Out in the open and on the solid ground, you were finally beginning to feel at ease again, but you were exhausted from all of the wasted mental energy.

Oblivious to it all, Hoseok gave you a gentle pat on the back.

"Let's get going.  It's only about a half a block..." he started looking around, probably for street signs.  He turned his body in the direction you assumed you had to go.  "This way."

The three of you trailed your way to the big building.  Hoseok had his arm around your waist, guiding you through the crowds of people.  You hadn't anticipated it being that crowded, but you should've figured that it would be.  This was the new popular trend.  You knew that just about everyone wanted to make their big break.

You were worried.  Both Hoseok and Jungkook were so young and inexperienced.  Were they really talented enough to show something different than the hundreds of others auditioning?  You could only hope.  You knew they deserved the happiness that would come from success.  You wished it upon them.

You guys made it to the waiting room you were supposed to be in.  There were about fifteen other people in the room, so it wasn't all that crowded.
