Chapter Sixteen: Levi Ackerman is dead

"I... made a choice. And it killed everyone."
- Eren Jaeger

(Eren Jaeger POV)

For the two days they've been gone, I couldn't get any sleep. I tried to sleep, but the dream that Levi dying scared me. I couldn't sleep, so I ended up staying up the whole time; I didn't eat much either. I kept myself busy by looking at the last piece Levi had drew, I was scared that if I looked away, it would disappear, so I didn't move. I sigh, wondering when they'll be back, wondering if they were hurt, wondering if they were going to die, what will I do. The whole time I was paranoid, something that also kept me awake.

When they arrived, I couldn't help but feel a big relief. I was alone, so it was like feeling a million tons of stress was passed onto me, and when they arrived, they helped me carry it off my back. I couldn't help but cry. I noticed that there was blood on Levi's body, but Rico had used her medical skills and patched it up. It should help him for now. Rico took Aamon and his body into Levi's room, where she'll do her ritual. She made us wait outside, which even got me more worried.

"Don't worry Eren. They'll be fine," Sebastian confirmed.

I was pacing around the hallway, my heartbeat beating faster than a usual person. I was trembling slightly and I was tired, I wanted to sleep but I couldn't. There was a lot of pressure and worry on me, I felt as if I could only sleep when I know Levi was safe.

"Eren," Sebastian called out.

"What?!" I screamed out. When I realized I yelled at him, he had this amused look. "I'm sorry! I'm just worried, that's all."

"I'm worried and I'm not acting like a crazy maniac," Sebastian gave me a plain stare.

"Well, that's because you're already a crazy maniac," I retorted. Sebastian scoffed, then chuckled.

"They'll be fine, Rico's a really good bit... witch. I've known her for some quite some time, she won't let us down," Sebastian confirmed. I sigh, my legs still shaking, but I made it to the chair and sat down. "Calm down. You want food? I'll make some."

"No, I'm not hungry," I lied. I was starving, but me being worry pushed it aside. Honestly, I could've went for some omelette, but I was afraid that I might throw it all up.

---

We waited for a while, a very long while. Sebastian and I haven't spoke to each other in a long time, so we just sat in silent. When Rico came out, she was worn out. I finally realized she was an old lady when I saw her wrinkles, but it was only a split second before she turn back into a young lady.

"That took forever!" Rico yelled, stretching and cracking her bones. "I'm going to go home and take a long nap. You  guys could go see them, they're still asleep though." She waved us off, walking past us. I stood up, rushing into the room where both the males laid down. I went over to Levi, gripping onto his hands. Sebastian just walked towards Aamon and smack his face.

"Wake up you idiot," he said.

"Ah, I wanna sleep," Aamon mumbled, turning over.

I look over at them, and was shocked when I saw Sebastian smiling with teary eyes.

"Don't even cry Sebastian," Aamon said.
