"Must you leave now," you say from your spot on the bed as you watch Robert dress himself. "We were just wed, can't you wait a day or two?"

"I'm sorry, y/n, but you know I can't. War waits for know one. Besides, Cat can keep you company, and her sister. You won't be alone."

"But Cat and Ned have been wed for a few weeks now. I wouldn't be surprised if she was already with child." He grabs his sword from the table he left it on and then turns to you, sadness written on his face.

"When I get back from this I will make sure that you are with child. We will have as many children as you want." He gently cups your face in his hand leans in, kissing you lightly on your lips.

"I will write to you everyday. And you better respond at least once a week." He laughs loudly at that.

"I will do my best love. Now get some rest, it has been a long day." You nod your head and settle back into the bed as you watch him walk out of your shared chambers, hoping that it won't be for the last time.

My dearest Robert,

I know you have only been gone a two months but it already feels like a lifetime has passed. There really isn't much to do here in Riverrun, I don't know how Cat has survived here for so long.

I still mostly pass the days by reading, the library is very large here. Cat has had me join her for embroidery, but it seems to make the time move even slower. I'm sure you have heard from Ned that she is with child. She seems so excited.

I miss you so much, I can't even put into words what I am feeling right now. I just hope you come home soon, unharmed.

Sending all my love,

Y/n Baratheon

My dear husband,

I know I haven't written in a week, I was feeling very ill and I had to lay in bed for the week. But I have exciting news! I am with child!

The pregnancy is only barely two months along, so sickness happens a lot at this stage. Cat was ill anytime she smelled fish, which is almost every meal here. So far my breast are tender and a bit larger, which I am only including because I know how much you would love to see them.

I now hope even more that you are able to return soon, I don't want to go through this pregnancy without you. Maybe you can at least come visit soon? It would mean the world to me to even be able to see you for even just a second.

Your loving wife,

Y/n Baratheon

"Must you always try to drag me up there," Cat asks as you enter her room.

"Of course, it's tradition now. And you are to far along with your child to go up to the rookery."

"Soon you will be as well," she replies, looking at your stomach. You now almost four moons and your stomach is getting quite big. It's not really that big, but to you it already feels gigantic. "When was the last time you got a letter from him?"

"Robert wrote to me two weeks ago. At first it was every week, but he has gotten very busy. I hope to be getting something from soon."

"Since you are going up there, can you please send this to Ned as well? And no, it will probably not be every day," she adds after seeing the look on your face. You take it from her hand and walk towards the door.

"I will see you for dinner then?"

"Of course." You close her chamber doors behind you and make your way to the rookery to send your letters.

You stand besides Cat's head, holding her hand and occasionally wetting her forehead as she screams and groans. She has been in labor for almost eighteen hours, and you have sat by her side the whole time. It was highly suggested that you wait outside, but Cat wanted you there so here you were.

"I believe it's time to start pushing my lady," someone says, your not sure who.

"Did you hear that Cat? It's time to push. Soon you will have a beautiful baby in your arms." You wipe her forehead down as she squeezes your hand and screams. It seems like hours go by with her screaming before a baby's cry's echo throughout the room.

"It's a boy," one of Cat's handmaidens say, handing the baby to her after wrapping him in a cloth.

"He is beautiful," you say, leaning down towards the baby with a big smile on your face. "Do you know what you are going to call him?"

"His name is Robb," she says, looking down at him with a look of pure love. The baby starts kicking in your stomach after she says the name.

"This little one likes that name," you laugh, putting a hand on your swollen belly.

"Lady Baratheon, perhaps you should let the two rest," Cat's handmaiden suggests and you nod your head, slowly waddling out of the room.

"I can't do it," you cry out as another wave of pain washes over you. It has been almost twenty hours of this nonstop pain and it has finally broken you. "I need Robert."

"Y/n, it's okay," Cat says, gently rubbing your head. "I am here for you, okay? It will be okay. But right now you have to push. This baby wants to be in your arms." You nod shakily and start pushing. The pain seems to never end as it continues to wash over you and you scream your throat raw.

"It's a girl," someone calls out, and Cat rushes over to her. You asked her to stay with the baby until it was in your arms for fear of something being wrong with it.

"She is so beautiful," Cat says, gently handing her to you. You gently rub her head, tears running down your face.

"Your daddy would have loved to see right now, my little Astrea. I am sure he will be here soon, and he will love you and protect you from anything that could even think of harming you." You kiss her forehead softly. "For you, my love, are now Astrea, princess of Westeros."
