Sorry for no updates in a while, I had midterms that never seemed to end!
--------
Sometimes you could imagen the feeling of your hair blowing in the wind, the tingling of your skin as the wind passes over you causing goosebumps to rise. But then you remembered what it felt like when you transformed and you immediately forgot about it. Except right now when every second it seems you are closer to death.
The blood flowing from your poorly stitched, and most likely infected wound, just reminded you that you had to keep going. Even where you lay on the ground it was all you could think about. You had tried to get up so many times, but even in your dragon form you couldn't do it. You knew being here in the middle of know where probably wasn't the best idea but you couldn't move.
Screeching brings you out of your cloud of misery, looking into the sky to find the source. The ground shakes as three objects thud to the ground next to you. If you were in your human form shock would be etched onto your face. Three dragons are next to you, looking at you with what you think is intrigue.
They are small, at least compared to you, so you assume that they aren't yet full size, though they appear very close to it. A figure is suddenly standing next to them, and you realize that this must be Daenerys and her three dragons.
Her long hair waves in the wind, her face looking shocked and surprised, although you can't blame her. The only three dragons known to be alive are the ones she has, so seeing you in your dragon form must be a shock.
She takes a few steps towards you, reaching out her hand to try to touch you. You go to stand quickly, your legs shaking, as you roar. She backs up, but of course, that's when the dragons come up to you.
They touch you gently with their snouts, getting very close to your injury. One of their wings brushes over it, making you roar, getting a rush of energy, and standing up, glaring at them. They shrink back in fear, all but the biggest one, who keeps trying to get closer to you.
You try to move your wings to fly away, but stretching them just causes you more pain as you topple to your side, feeling yourself begin to shrink in size, the world around you beginning to fade to black.
-----------------
You wake with a start, trying to sit up but hissing in pain, decide against it. From your spot on the bed, you are able to look around the room a little bit.
There is a little table near you with a candle on it, seeming to be the only source of light in the room. The room itself seems huge, it looks like the light provided from the candle doesn't show the whole thing, and you don't even see the ceiling. The only other thing you can see is a door, made of wood by the looks of it, but you can't fully tell.
You need to get out of here, that is the one thing you know. You gently lift up the shirt that you are now in and look at your wound. It's stitched up now, professionally by the looks of it, so you think you are okay changing forms.
Before you even have the chance, the door clanks open, a figure coming into the room. You sit up quickly, ignoring the pain that shoots through your body, putting your feet on the ground and somewhat running to the very edge of the light.
"It's alright, I'm not going to hurt you," a soft voice says. Something in your gut tells you that you can trust this person, yet your brain is telling you something completely different.
"She needs to lay down again," a low and vaguely familier voice says from behind the figure in the door. "She shouldn't even be able to stand right now."
"Please, what is your name," the first voice says as they slowly move into the light. It's then that you realize that it is Daenerys Targaryen, the mother of dragons, the one person you deffinatly should not be captured by considering that you can transform into a dragon.
"Y/n Lannister," you say. You try to sound confident and strong, but even saying your last name makes you want to gag. You can tell that she is surprised by that, which makes sense seeing as she knows that you can transform into a dragon and your family helped destroy the family that was known to have dragons in the past.
"Y/n," the other voice pops up as they step completly into the light. You do the strange running thing to him, getting on your knees and hugging your uncle tightly.
"Uncle Tyrion, I'm so glad you are okay," you exclaim.
"You can turn into a dragon? How did you get hurt? When did you get hurt?" You pull away from and glance back at Daenerys before looking at your hands that now lay on your lap.
"I can. I don't know exactly how or when, or even why, but I can turn into a dragon. She found out though, Cerci that is. She sent someone to my room to kill me while I slept. I wasn't asleep when the person came into the room though, so I was able to kill him but not before he stabbed me. I think it was three days ago, maybe a week. I'm not sure, everything is kind of blurry."
"You will be staying here with us then," Daenerys says, stepping towards us. You tense up and know that Tryion notices because he gives you a sympthetic look. "I have had chambers near Tyrion and I's chambers. It has a balcony, if you need to transfrom, but I do ask that you come back."
"Why?" You don't understand why she would have you close to her when she doesn't even know if you are on her side in this impending war. You deffinetly aren't on your mothers side, but still.
"You are strong and I believe that in time you will fit in nicely here. Aslo my dragons seem to have taken a liking to you, and with your gift I have a feeling I will need to keep an eye on you."
