It was never easy for the two of you to get any alone time. There were a few reasons behind this, one of course being that as a knight in the Kings Guard, he wasn't supposed to have any sort of romantic relationship. And then Cersi.

Jaime had told you about the interactions he had had with his sister, how Joffery and the others were his children. Being the little sister of Robert, you were appalled when you he told you, but you loved Jaime, so you eventually pushed it away. He wasn't sleeping with her any more, he said they had stopped after Mycella was born.

You still had to be very careful though. If anyone, especially Robert, found out about the two of you, you didn't even want to think about what would happen. Tyrion was the only person who knew, partly because he walked in when you were in a compromising situation. But you trusted him, he was your best friend and he cared for his brother immensely.

"Y/n, come here," your brother calls out. He is sitting at the head of the table during breakfast, which greatly surprises you because he is usually to hung over to even be up at this hour of the day. You walk over to him, taking the seat next to him.

"Yes, brother dear?" He chuckles. You only call him that when you annoyed, angry, or confused and he knew it.

"I think it's time for you to marry." You roll your eyes, leaning back in the chair as a servant comes over with a tray of food for you.

"If only you hadn't already looked at every single man willing to be wed to the sister of the king. You do this at least once a year."

"Do have a certain person in mind? A person that you know will treat you well?" You are silent for a minute. Maybe if you say his name your brother will get off your back.

"Yes. The only person I will marry is Jaime Lannister. It's a shame that he can't wed because of his vows though. Now if you don't mind, I have things to do." You stand up and push your platter of food towards him before walking out of the room.

You find yourself watching the guards train when Tyrion finds you later. He takes a seat next to you and you brace yourself for what you know he is going to talk about.

"I heard about what happened with your brother this morning."

"I figured. Do you think he heard?" You don't take your eyes off of the fighting going on below you.

"Who do you think sent me?"

"So he is angry. I don't want to wed anyone so I said his name knowing that it would make Robert back off."

"He realized that. But Robert has asked to speak to him later today." You turn your head quickly to look at him with shock.

"You can't be serious?" He simply nods his head. "You don't think-"

"That is exactly what I think. And what he thinks." You put your head on your hands and sigh with frustration.

"Can you tell him I am sorry? I didn't want this to happen. I didn't think Robert would go this far." Tyrion puts a hand on your shoulder reassuringly.

"I will. He wanted to know if it was true though."

"That he is the only man that I am willing to marry? Yes it's true. I love him and he knows that."

"He loves you as well. I can see it whenever you are even mentioned in a conversation." You smile softly.

"Thank you Tyrion." He stands up and walks away, leaving you to your thoughts.

*Time Skip*

It has been a few days since Robert brought up marriage, and since then Jaime, and even Tyrion, have been avoiding you. It seems strange, especially with the conversation that you and Tyrion had after it all went down and it make you very worried. You know that Jaime won't change his mind about how he feels about you just because of this, but the fact that he hasn't talked to still brings the thought to your mind.

You had finally had enough of the wondering though, so you decided to do probably the most stupid thing, but also the only thing you could think to do. You were going to confront Robert. You burst through the doors of his chambers, the whore's surrounding him covering themselves quickly.

"What do you want Y/n," he asks, his eyes not leaving the whore's in the bed.

"I want to know what you said to Jaime Lannister that is making both him and his brother avoid me." He sighs loudly, finally turning his head to look at you.

"And this could not wait until the morning?"

"No, it could not. My best friends haven't talked to me in four days, they won't even look at me."

"I asked the kingslayer if he wanted to marry you, he said he would but the shitting vows he took would never let him. I kicked him off the kingsguard and wrote Tywin and I just got his response saying that he will be coming immediately so the wedding can happen sooner rather than later. I was going to tell you all at breakfast tomorrow." You stare at him in shock, not sure how you should respond to something like what he just said.

"Congratulations," one of the women on his bed says. You simply nod your head in response, turning around and leaving the room.

You stumble down the halls, feeling very lightheaded. You have this feeling in your stomach that you can't describe and you just feel like bursting into tears. He will blame you for this, being forced to drop his vows. It is something that you never wanted, you knew how much they meant to him.

You lean against a wall, slowly sinking to the ground. You run your hand through your hair realizing that they are shaking uncontrollably. You lift them and watch the shaking. You loudly breath in and out, trying to make your body calm down to no avail.

"Y/n?" You look up seeing Jaime standing in front of you with worry etched onto his face. You didn't even hear him coming down the hall. "What's wrong?" He sinks down next to you, gently taking your shaking hands in his.

"I didn't, I didn't mean for this to happen."

"For what to happen?"

"A wedding, our wedding," you say, slowly bringing your eyes up to meet his gaze. "Robert just told me. Your father is on his way so a wedding can happen quickly." He brings a hand up to your face gently, rubbing your cheek with his thumb.

"I love you. That's all that really matters." You lean into him, bringing your bodies as close as possible as your lips connect with his.

"You don't blame me for this all happening," you ask after you pull slightly away from him.

"If you hadn't done what you did, we probably would never have gotten to wed. Eventually he would have made you marry some other man and then I would most likely never get to hold you in my arms ever again. It's really for the best."  You smile, connecting your lips once again.
