*Requested!

Your breath comes out in small, quick gasps. Your legs are burning, your whole body begging you to stop and rest. But you know you can't. If you stop now, Ramsey will find you and will take you back.

The two of you had been in a relationship of sorts, or at least you thought you had been. But then you walked in on him fucking another woman. This was your second time trying to escape, and so far it was going much better, possibly because you weren't in a blind rage. You knew it was only a matter of time before Ramsey hurt you again, so you decided to leave him before he could.

You don't know how long you have been out in the woods. Days and nights seem to fly by as you continue to move forward. Whenever you hear dogs barking, horses hooves, twigs snapping, you run. This time it had been a little to close for comfort. The noises were so close to you, in a panic, you ran once again, and haven't stopped in what feels like hours.

The sight in front of you when you are finally out of the woods is worth all the pain that your body has been put through. Because in front of, stands the Wall.

Looking around you, you still can't believe that you are in Winterfell once again. You never thought you would be walking the all too familiar halls ever again.

Jon Snow had happily let you into Castle Black, where you helped cook and clean, and even help Sansa when she showed up almost the same way as you had. And not long after, he attacked Ramsey Bolton. At the moment, you were walking to meet Jon, who had requested your presence about important matters.

"Ah, Y/n, there you are." He looks serious, more so than normal, and it makes you worried about what he has to say. "Let's go somewhere a bit more secluded."

He leads you to the library, somewhere you didn't often explore since you had never been told to clean it.

"What is the matter, Lord Snow?"

"It's about Bolton."

"Ramsey? What about him?" You can feel the panic in your chest. You loved him dearly still, but couldn't bring yourself to go see him. You knew he would most likely be mad, especially since you were with Jon.

"I know you served him for a time before you found the wall. I thought you would like to know that we have sentenced him to death." You gasp, an onslaught of emotions hitting you like a ton of bricks.

"You can't kill him," you exclaim. "Killing him doesn't do anything for you. You already have Winterfell back, you defeated him, have him locked up. He can't hurt you." The look Jon gives you scares you to your core, but you try to stand strong and appear confident.

"I didn't tell you this so you can try to save him, I told you because I thought you would be happy about it. You couldn't even talk about what he did to you."

"I honestly didn't expect this of you, Jon Snow. You did not seem the type of person to kill another without a trial at the very least. I know what he did to Sansa was terrible, but he is still a person." You spin on your heel quickly, leaving Jon shocked and confused, while you go to your chambers to think.

----

A gust of wind sends a shiver down your spine. You hug the clothes to your chest under your warm furs, hoping that you have enough to get by for a few days at least. Now that you have already started the plan that you came up with, you feel like you really shouldn't be doing it. There are so many things that could go wrong at any given moment.

Pausing before entering the dungeons where he is being kept, you take a deep breath. You decided to do it in the middle of the night because the guards often fall asleep since there is no noise outside. You just have to grab the keys, unlock his cell, have him change, and then figure out how to get past the gates. You had hoped that he would be able to help with that.

You pull open the door slowly, trying to not be suspicious if the guard is awake but slow enough that it doesn't make much noise. Glancing around once inside, you feel a small weight lifted off of your chest when you see the guard is asleep. Your plan might actually work!

The keys are hanging on the wall by the passage that leads to the cells. You grab them, trying to be as quiet as possible. You grab a torch as well, knowing that they don't have any in the dungeons. Ramsey brought you down here a few times during your relationship so you have some idea of what to expect.

Walking quickly down the hall, you soon come to the cells. You peer into each one, hoping that he isn't too far back. You are surprised by how many men are in cells, men that were captured after the battle. It's not all that long before you finally see him.

Your heart seems to stop at the sight of him, and all of the feelings that you have been trying to push down come crawling back up.

"Ramsey," you say softly, trying to get his attention. He stirs slightly but doesn't show signs of getting up. "Ramsey," you say louder. After still not getting a response, you decide on a different approach.

You begin tying different keys on the cell, unsure which one is the one for his. It would be easier if they could mark it somehow, but of course, they don't. You finally hear one click and it turns all the way. Opening it slowly, you slip inside and to Ramsey's side.

"Come one," you say, shaking him gently. You see his eyes open for a second but not completely. Placing the clothes for him on the ground, you grab his shoulder and shake him more roughly. He jerks away from you, pushing himself away before actually looking at you.

"Y/n? What are you doing here? I thought you were dead." You place a hand on his cheek, looking at him sadly.

"I know, and I'm so sorry Ramsey. I thought leaving would help protect me from more pain, but it's done the opposite. Please, put on the clothes and let's get out of here."

He stares at you for some time. You know he is thinking, trying to figure out if this is the best thing for him. He nods suddenly and starts to stand up. You grab his arm and help him slightly. Before you can pull away from him, he pulls you closer, placing his lips on yours. You hope that he is able to tell how much you care for him from just that, and by the look of what you can only describe as happiness in his eyes, you are sure he did.

You stand outside the cell while he changes quickly. When he joins you in the hall, you grab the torch with one hand and his with the other.

"I have to confess, I didn't fully figure out a way out of the keep," you say softly.

"Has it been snowing much?"

"Yes, I heard almost twenty feet has pilled up on one side of the wall. Why?"

"That's our way out, my dear." You turn and glance at him, seeing the smirk on his face.

"You can't be serious?"

"About this, I am most definitely serious. You just have to trust me, love." You bite your lip, nodding your head. You will from now on, always put your trust in him.
