The page was left just as it was: faded white and blank.

He had picked up the pen;

He had thought what he wanted to say but his heart sank.

He tried to stop his tears and counted till ten.

He wanted to tell her, "I love You, dear."

He wanted to see her and apologize.

He needed her to be near.

He wanted to tell her, "All you hear are lies."

Seven years had already flown away.

He must have been faded from her memory after this long.

How bad he wanted to remind her of the May,

the summer he first taught her their little song.

The bars prevented him the freedom he deserved.

Justice was not just with him,

he wasn't guilty yet he got served.

All believed the LAW and abandoned him.

She was fed the lies, which the others believed blindly.

She was kept away far from his reach,

his love, his truth, and the reality ;

She being young and innocent, listens to what the elders teach.

But it didn't mean she believes anything and anybody.

She knew he wasn't bad.

How could he when he had taught her their little melody?

The symphony she sang every time she was sad.

She was just six years old

when she was told her father was bad,

when she had to hear the lies and do what she's been told,

when she lost him, the only love she ever had.
