Poem #14 : Confused Faith

One after the other, the pages were turned hurriedly

To find the magic mantra to stop the death-storm so deadly!

The preacher told the people to have faith in God.

The scientist disagreed and kept calling the preacher a fraud.

But he kept thinking to himself,

"God, I'm trying here! Please help us save ourself!"

The Preacher didn't say it out loud,

But he hoped the scientist would save him and the crowd.
