Jordan and I had spent the next couple of weeks together. Before you know it he had just as much of his clothes in my condo as I did like he had moved in. My condo was more convenient for him which only made it easier for him to stay. We even had a routine. He would go to the gym every morning and I would have breakfast ready for him and I when he returned to dress for work. And every night I would make dinner. Jordan had just walked out headed to work when my mom called me.

"Hey! Mama how are you?"

"I'm good baby. Listen your father and I will be headed to Atlanta tomorrow for his dentist appointment cause he's been having a toothache, and I was thinking maybe we could have dinner later."

"Okay  great I can't wait to see you two"

"And you can bring that little boy you been running all over town with too." My mouth dropped as I was stunned. How did my mother know about Jordan!? Especially when I haven't even talked about him to her.

"Omg! Who told you!?" Somehow my mother always knew what was going on with me even with her living Two hours away.

"Your aunt Veronica said she saw you at one of her friends cookouts all up on some boy. And I called Scottie cause you know she can't hold water when it comes to me. And she said yall had been spending time together. So I want to meet him."

"Mommy he's so sweet and he is fine. He's a doctor also. And i can't stand Aunt Vee's messy self, I didn't even know she was there cause she definitely didn't say hey."

"You know how your daddy's messy sister is, but I do want you to bring him I need to meet him especially after that other jackass. But I gotta go your damn daddy in here whining about his tooth again. Bye baby."

"Bye Mama!" The thought of my Parents meeting Jordan made me extremely nervous. Though my mother gave me her blessing during a previous conversation to find a good man, but let's face it Jarvis didn't make it easy for my parents to accept a new man into my life. I went to grab my phone to call Scottie about not warning me that she had spoke to my mother. before I could get to it my phone rang!. It was Jordan.

"Hey bae, I didn't have as many patients as I thought today so I was wondering if we could get lunch. I miss you already."

"I miss you too baby. Lunch will be great I have some news to share with you."

"News!? I hope the good kind."

"It depends on how you take it. I'll meet you at the Flying Biscuit."

"Alright baby, see you soon."

Putting off calling scottie I head to my closet to put on some clothes. I throw on a white short sleeve v-neck shirt and ripped blue jeans and sandals with my hair in a bun and head out to meet Jordan for lunch.  I walk and see my handsome boyfriend in his white dress shirt and black tie. The sight of him makes me smile. He wraps his strong arms around me before planting a kiss on my lips."Mhmm. Lips like butter girl." He says to me before pulling out a chair for me.

As we were sitting down a older couple were leaving and the woman stopped at our table and said"You and your husband are a beautiful couple." I politely told her thank you as I beamed at the thought of Jordan and I being married. Jordan was flattered too by the looks of his huge smile showing off his dimples.

"So baby what's the news? You had me anxious since you talked about it earlier."

"Well baby my Parents are coming tomorrow."

"That's good baby. I know you said they live a good bit away."

"They want to have dinner tomorrow.....With both of us." Jordan adjusted himself in his seat surprised by the news.

"Wow! I mean I guess that's good. Since I made you my girlfriend and you met my parents a day after I met you."

"I know but I'm so nervous. My parents hated Jarvis. I'm just afraid that they'll grill you into not wanting me."

"Gee! My Queen there isn't a mama on earth that will turn me away from your fine ass. Ok?"

"I know. I'm just nervous baby. At least you meet my mother's prerequisites."

"And what's that?" Jordan said with an eyebrow raised as he sipped his sweet tea.

"A fine ass man with a good job, good morals and...." I paused for a second with a horrid mental picture in my head.

"And what baby!?" He anxiously questioned.

"And a bomb ass back stroke like my daddy." Jordan choked on his drink as I laughed so loud causing people at other tables to turn around.

"Oh! Damn. Well I don't know what pops working with but my back stroke is vicious." He joked as we continued to laugh."

"Everything will be fine. We'll take them to a nice restaurant,  I'll cover the bill and then later, you can test my back stroke how about that!?" He said as he bit his lip at that last remark looking me up and down like he wanted to eat me more than the Belgian Waffle he ordered.

I threw  a piece of ice at him jokingly. "Shut up boy! With your sexy ass."

Later that night Jordan and I cleaned my place up even finally putting his clothes in drawers since it was clear Jordan didn't intend on going back to his place anytime soon. We even went to Walmart and Kirkland's to make the guest bedroom as homie as possible because my mother texted me while Jordan and I were having dinner this evening and asked if they could stay with me. But I didn't exactly tell them Jordan technically lived with me. Too tired to do anything else we crashed for the night cuddled up to each other.
