After a five year relationship a young business woman ends her engagement with her ex after infidelity ruins the relationship. Slowly getting her groove back, during a friends birthday celebration a party heckler sparks her interest. But once her ex...
The wedding ceremony was beautiful. Scottie and Shawn's vowels had even the groomsmen crying their eyes out. I couldn't help but notice Jordan through out the entire ceremony. He kept smiling and winking at me as if we weren't in front of everyone to see. As we were leaving the ceremony after the "I Do's" he whispered "You know you next right!? And to his surprise I responded "I better be!" Which prompted him to give me the Nick Young face.

The initial fear that we wouldn't be as we were before everything had taken place was gone. Clearly the baby talk and now wedding talk showed that isn't the case. He was just as into me as he was before and so was I. We were truly in a great place with one another and being at Scottie's wedding made it even clearer what I wanted with Jordan if it wasn't clear already.
Shawn and Scottie had that "Just Married Glow" as they were announced as Husband and Wife to their family and friends at the reception. They danced to Let's Get Married- by Jagged Edge ft Rev Run. That song was such a staple for black wedding's it had everyone on their feet. Soon we were seated for dinner to be served. The food was good and we all enjoyed each other's company talking and joking as good vibes filled the air. Through out the reception you could here guest talking and the sound of silverware on plates. That was until the blaring sound of "Cash Money Records Taking Over For The 99 in the 2000s" burst through the speakers and had everybody hyped.
"Ahh! Shit come on Gee! You know this our song!" Scottie said jumping up pulling me to the dance floor.
It didn't take long for the Enchanted Princess to turn into Scottie-too-Hotty from back in college. Of course the guys found their way to us as Jatavia and Chloe joined in on the fun. Once Devyn found one of Scottie's single girl cousins who was his age he forgot all about his crush. It was definitely time for the DJ to change songs when my mama came to dance and started twerking on my father.
"Mother Pleeeeaae! Go sit down" I whined out of embarrassment.
"Girl! How you think you got here? Mama had to show him what she was working with baby!"
"Oh! My god!!" I covered my face in shame. Jordan wrapped his arms around me and kissed my cheek. "Aw! Come on bae that's gone be us one day."
I jokingly rolled my eyes knowing damn well we were probably going to be this exact same way. He was a goof ball and I definitely was much like my mother. The DJ asked for all the single men and women to gather on the dance floor so the Newly Weds could throw the Bouquet and Garder. Everyone thought Shawn had forgot the task at hand when he disappeared under Scottie's dress. And the faces my girl was making only furthered our suspicion, but finally he emerged with the garder in hand. The guys huddled together like they were about to Tip-off in a basketball game. Just as Terrence little short self thought he had it Jordan batted it away forgetting he was supposed to catch it. Just before it hit the floor Devyn glides across the ground and catches it. Jordan shrugged and grinned as he noticed my jokingly annoyed facial expression. With that being said I gave zero effort to catch the bouquet. Jatavia ended up catching it after tripping Chloe. Once Bump'N Grind by R. Kelly was put on Devyn went from NBA playboy to full blown Chocolate City Dancer.
