Shortly after landing in beautiful Honolulu Hawaii, we settled into our luxurious vacation rental that sat a few feet from the beach. Once we dropped our bags off in our rooms, The fellas and I poured a few drinks before playing a few games of pool. Shawn and I was putting a hurting on Kenzo and Terrence as we played as teams against each other.

As Terrence and Kenzo jokingly argued over which of the two wasn't pulling their weight during the game, I noticed Shawn made his way outside. I went outside behind him to make sure he was good. As Best Man it was my Job to make sure that shawn was happy and his last day's as a bachelor went off without a hitch.

"Aye! Cuz you good out here!?"

"Yeah! Bruh I'm good. Just enjoying this beautiful view. Also I can't believe I'm getting married."

I let out a short laugh at that last thought. "Hell me either. Considering you had every young hot female talent in the city before. This is definitely a move nobody saw coming. I over heard Auntie Sheila say she was putting on her good wig so you know it's serious." This time we both laughed as we tapped our glasses together that were filled with Hennessy.

"Sounds crazy huh! Cuz? That fine ass Godiva Goddess got me whipped and I'm not afraid to say it. When I saw baby girl's ass as I was strolling with my Frat at that party in college I damn near broke my neck. Then she had the nerve to turn around, and when I saw how fine she was I forgot all my steps."

"Oh! Yeah I definitely remember. That was the Saturday before you came to church with the skin on your ass peeled from messing up. Grandma thought you shit on yourself the way you sat on your hands or winced every time something remotely came close to that area."

"Well after years of being with that sexy ass woman I'm happy to say, It was worth it! I Just hope that one day you and Giselle can look back on all this and say the same."

My focus turned to the beautiful ocean as I thought about the woman who had turned my life upside down since day one of us meeting. I was excited and hopeful that we were going to be able to find common ground here in Honolulu once we finally layed eyes on one another.

"I hope so too. I miss her ass like crazy and I  need to feel her body like now! Them porno's ain't hitting like they was in high school. But until I see her later this week it's all about you."

"First off, I didn't need that mental picture,  and second get your girl man. I know she's the one for you"

I nodded my head in agreeance with Shawn.

As the sun went down  Kenzo and Terrence came out carrying pregame shots full of tequila.

"Aye! Fellas no more time for this sentimental shit let's take some shots!" Kenzo said with much enthusiasm.

"Guys we have an hour to get ready for the dinner that Scottie planned so let's take these shots and head upstairs."

We followed Terrence's direction and downed our shots before heading up to our rooms to freshen up and get dressed for our first dinner in Hawaii. It was still fairly warm here for December even at night, so all the fellas dressed in there best island attire. We followed the path that was well lit by tiki torches to a dining table accompanied by a feast fit for kings.  As we sat and feasted on various dishes we were entertained by a luau. The funniest part of the night had to be watching Kenzo, who could run up and down the field but had two left feet and zero ounce  of rhythm try an dance. His season was cut short when he tore his ACL. He was down for a bit but it was good to see him have a good time.

Once all the performers left we continued to talk and reminisce about our college days and all our old exes. After thinking back to all the games we used to play with women and all the drama we dealt with with our exes, we were grateful for the women we had in our lives. Terrence had married his wife Hazel last year and was expecting their first child. And Kenzo and Chloe had been going strong since may.
Despite Giselle and I's current issue's she was the best thing that happened to me.  We've made a lot of mistakes these last few months in regards our relationship. Maybe I was wrong for telling Giselle to give me time. I honestly didn't need three months to figure out what I already knew. I love the fuck out of that that woman. After kissing her at Devyn's game it took everything in me not to grab her sexy ass up and give her some much needed Vitamin D if you know what I mean. I should've told her that I wasn't going to leave her presence until we hashed everything out with one another, but I got scared.

I was scared to give my heart again. I just couldn't bring myself to reopen my heart back to her just to get it broken again. But love is a risk right? Something she and I had been taking from the beginning of our relationship. We were ready to move in with each other barely two months into our relationship. So why not take another. I pulled out my phone and sent her a message.

"Giselle! I know you're angry  with me and you have every right to be, but I want you to know I miss you and can't wait to see later this week."

I smiled at my phone knowing at some point she was going to see my message and  know where my head is at this very moment. I guess I was in my head too long, because next thing I knew Shawn was snapping his fingers trying to get my attention.

"Hey! Earth to Jordan! You good bruh!?"

"Aww man my bad! I was handling some business." I said hoping he'd buy it.

"Yeah okay!" By his tone I guess my efforts failed. He gave me a knowing smile like he already knew who I was really messaging.

"So Best Man, What's the plan for this week? What we getting into?" Terrence interrupted.

"Well tomorrow I say we hit the club scene and see what the night life is like out here. And for the rest of our time here I have things planned like a booze cruise and even  got us a table at the hottest Hawaiian strip club in Honolulu."

"Whaaat!? They got strip clubs in Hawaii that's crazy." Kenzo said surprised.

"They do! But I'm sure it's nothing like Magic City or Diamonds but we're gonna have fun regardless. Now let's get some sleep fellas we got a long week ahead of us."

We all made it to our room's after dinner. I hopped in the shower soon as I got in. As I was getting ready for bed I heard my phone buzz. I picked it up as fast as I could when I saw it was Giselle. I had the biggest smile on my face until I saw her response to my text.

"🙄🖕"

Damn! Guess it won't be as easy to get her back as I hoped. But I was up for the challenge.
