whenever sookie, bill, and the two other vampires showed up hadley was ready to cry, eric had been hounding her about her and godric's relationship and she was tired of it.

her first thought when sookie walked through the door was why on earth would she wear that dress, and then she quickly scolded herself for thinking so horribly about the woman's taste in fashion. the blonde smiled at her kindly as if she could read her mind before introducing herself, "hi i'm sookie and this is bill."

"hadley, hadley love." she smiled and shook the woman's hand.

"love? that is so cute oh my goodness." hadley nodded and looked over at eric who just rolled his eyes, "so you're godric's girlfriend?"

hadley visibly tensed at how relaxed sookie was, everyone else had been walking on eggshells around her, except eric of course. sookie froze for a few seconds and stared deep into the woman's eyes, "oh my gosh i am so sorry." she pulled hadley into a hug, "i would feel the exact same if i were in your shoes, which look killer by the way are you okay?"

nodding, hadley took a few steps away from sookie and walked towards eric. "you don't have to be in here if it's too much for you, i know how sensitive you are."

hadley let out a laugh, "you say that like it's an insult. i'll be fine, thanks for your concern." she looked towards the two vampires, "let's hear it."

they spoke for some time before an argument began, "we take them all out at once. pre-emptive strike."

"of course, so the federal government can bomb us back to the middle ages."

"things were better then." hadley shook her head at the two that were bickering like children, rubbing her temples a little too harshly and making eric grab her hand and put it by her side.

"then go to romania and live in a cave, you ranchero poser." eric grabbed a decorative vase and threw it against the wall, catching their attention.

"godric has protected you, made you rich, and you stand here spitting and scratching like infants." his eyes were narrowed and hadley could practically feel his patience wearing thin.

the woman walked out of the room, it held everyone's attention until she was out of sight, then they continued to argue once more. she wondered the halls until she reached godric's bedroom door, her hand shot out to open it but she shook her head and turned around back towards the living room.

"godric is my maker." she heard eric say to bill, she couldn't see his face but she could feel the hurt. she walked over and put a hand on his arm, the two vampires looked at her but she only looked at the picture of her and godric on a side table. "hadley will be joining sookie, if it makes you feel any better bill."

the blonde didn't say anything and allowed eric to wrap his arm around her again and lead her out of the house, her eyes staring into space as they left.
