while meeting the reverend and only slightly bashing vampires, he had offered a tour of the church or as sookie called it 'our new home.' hadley couldn't help but feel off as the man lead them around though, the way he would look at her and sookie made her extremely uneasy being there.

and then there was sarah, who actually seemed quite lovely, she had a worried expression most the tour and it only made hadley even more nervous. as the tour came to an end however her nerves relaxed, that was until steve had introduced an older man that was very buff and very stern looking.

"pleased to meet you." the man said, shaking hands with the three of them. his eyes lingered on hadley for a few seconds and sookie grabbed the womans hand tightly, looking at her with horrified eyes.

"gabe here is going to be joining us for the rest of the tour." steve smiled, wrapping an arm around gabe's shoulders as they walked deeper into the large and very well lit chapel.

sarah seemed very anxious and tried keeping the group in the large room for few moments longer, looking over at hadley with a small and very forced smile. "julia what are your thoughts on joining us?"

hadley looked somewhat shocked that the woman had spoke to her, and when she looked in her eyes it was almost like she was pleading for her to answer. "well to be completely honest with you sarah, i don't attend church all that much."

steve now became involved in the conversation, walking over and putting an arm around his wife. "but you look like such a good girl!" he exclaimed, she noticed his eyes flicker to gabe.

"oh thank you reverend but it isn't due to a lack of faith, every church i attend has someone who is a sympathizer. last one i attended there was a section of people who showed up with bites from the night before, and i just could not handle it anymore." she spoke slow and made sure her voice didn't waiver, her eyes didn't leave sarah's for more than a few seconds.

the man nodded before leading them onto their final destination, hadley stayed next to sarah while they walked. she wondered why she was so worried for the girl, should she be worried too?

steve left the group towards a door, exclaiming that it was his father's tomb that they just had to see. sarah protested the whole time but her husband insisted, he grabbed hadley's hands and looked into her eyes. "you can just feel the presence of his spirit."

sookie put a hand on the woman's back comforting her, she politely told steve that they didn't need to see the room but he insisted. he unlocked the door and swung it open to reveal a staircase leading into a room that hadley couldn't fully see, "rufus."

steve suddenly had a very innocent and worried look on his face, "what's the matter?"

"it's not big deal, she just has a tiny little case of claustrophobia. we both do, actually." hugo explained, saving sookie's ass as she broke character and became very worried for their safety.

sookie's mind shot back to when eric had practically threatened her and bill, telling the both of them if anything happened to hadley while at the chruch he would not hesitate to end both of their lives. steve insisted once more before yelling for gabe who picked hadley up and began pulling her down the stairs, the woman screamed and grabbed at the railing desperately.

"sarah please!" she shouted, her hands slipping off the railing and her head hitting one of the stairs hard. the hit knocking her out and allowing gabe to carry her into the cage easier before helping steve drag the other two into it with her, slamming the gate in their faces before he left with steve.

deep down in the basement on the other side of the church, godric's eyes shot open.
