hadley leaned against one of the many shelves in the cage, sookie next to her with her arms crossed. they watched as a furious looking gabe came down the stairs and into the cage with them, getting in hugo's face as he yelled about needing protection. hadley jumped back into the shelf as the man punched hugo, making him fall to the ground like a sack of potatoes.

"you want protection, you fangbangin sack of shit?" he yelled at hugo as he kicked him and punched him repeatedly. sookie looked like she was about to jump on the man's back but hadley beat her to it, wrapping her arm around his neck to try and choke him out.

gabe only slammed the woman into a shelf, causing her to let out a scream of pain. tears brimmed her eyes as he continued to throw her around like a ragdoll, he pushed her against the shelf with his hand wrapped tightly around her neck. her hands reached up to his own and she clawed at them desperately, trying to make him losen his hold.

sookie threw stuff at the man, screaming for him to stop but gabe only back handed her. "how about i show you what you've been missing?" gabe asked menacingly as hadley began pushing his face away from her own, tears flowing down her face that was now a deep red color.

hadley screamed loudly, as did sookie. gabe held onto the girl tightly as she thrashed around and tried to get out of his grip, she held onto the bars of the shelf but her hands slipped away once he yanked on her.

he threw the woman on the floor and slapped her, "scream for me like you scream for your vampires cock." he shouted, he pulled on the woman's dress as she thrashed around. ripping up one of the sides to her hip before he turned her around, she reached for anything to save her as she screamed. "scream for me baby." he said as he pulled at her lace underwear.

in a matter of seconds gabe was pulled off the girl and she was crawling over to the wall with tears down her face, she looked up to see godric holding the man by his ear. she felt tears of joy sprout from her eyes, "godric." she gasped, the man only stared at her with a blank face.

gabe struggled against godric's hold, looking at him with pleading eyes. "godric, it's me." he muttered before godric snapped his neck and dropped him to the floor.

he made his way over to hadley who was still crying, he helped the woman up from the floor and held onto her hands. "you should not have come." he said gently to her, looking at hugo and sookie who were both laying on the floor with blood on their faces.

"wha-" godric only looked into space and smiled.

"i am here, my child. down here." he said, closing his eyes as he spoke. seconds later eric came through the door and was by godric's side.

eric kneeled in front of his maker, "you were a fool for sending humans after me, especially my own." he looked at hadley and squeezed her hand gently.

"i had no other choice. these savages, they seek to destroy you."

"i'm aware of what they have planned." hadley looked up at him with wide eyes, he glanced at her before turning his full attention back to eric. "this one betrayed you." he pointed at hugo.

"how long has it been since you've fed?" eric asked, ignoring godric's statement and only worrying for his health.

hadley looked between the two before going to help sookie, "i require very little blood anymore." the flashing lights and loud alarm caught all of their attention, he looked over at hadley as she helped sookie stand up, wiping the blood that was under her lip. "save them. go on-"

"i am not leaving your side until you-"

"i can take care of myself. spill no blood on your way out." sookie rushed past eric while hadley just stood in front of of godric, not sure what to say to him.

the man pulled her close to him, pressing a kiss to her head before looking at eric. "go, take her please." eric grabbed her arm, pulling her away from him as she resisted. more tears flowed out of her eyes as the man dragged her gently up the stairs.

"godric no!" she shouted, he turned and watched as she was carried away. his heart breaking at the sight of her fearful eyes.
