Thanksgiving is only 2 weeks away as Rob and Kenya are figuring out what to do for the holiday. Kenya is now 3 months pregnant and is wearing some of Rob's sweatshirts to cover her body. Her mood lightens up when she hears about her family coming over for Thanksgiving. They start to make plans to what to get to eat.
There's a knock on the door and Kenya goes to answer. "Hey guys". Jordana and Fab say hello and come inside. "Kenya, you look so cute. How far are you?" Jordana asks. "It's 3 months now". "Do you guys know if it's a boy or girl?" Fab asks. Rob and Kenya say no and they go to their living room. When they announced that they were going to have a baby, many congratulated them and started to suggest names after the debate of whether the baby would be a boy or girl.
"This is so exciting! We can't wait to see them" Jordana says. "By the way, how did you two meet? From what I heard, it wasn't all sunshine" Fab says.
Kenya starts telling Fab about she and Rob meeting at their group therapy session and how Rob had put his foot in his mouth trying to get to know her. While Fab was not surprised at Rob's tendency to do that at times, he was surprised when it was revealed that Kenya threw a drink on him. "What did you say to her, Rob?" he asks, laughing.
The story continues with neither one of them knowing they were living next door to one another, until Rob comes to her to ask to keep his identity and living arrangements a secret. From that time on, the pair's relationship began to grow and lead to where they are now. "That's wonderful. I'm happy things are going great for you, Rob" Fab tells him. "Thanks, man".
Kenya goes to get some snacks and drinks for all of them and sets them down for everyone to take. "It feels pretty warm in here". She takes off the sweatshirt, wearing a white sleeveless top. Both Jordana and Fab look in shock, as Kenya's stomach is larger for just being pregnant at the 3 month mark. "What's wrong?". They say nothing and see a cassette with a 'peace' sign and red hearts on top.
"I'm going to get more things for us to eat" Kenya says, standing. "I'll help you" Rob says, following her to their kitchen. Fab takes the cassette and looks at it. "I wonder what's on this tape?". He puts it in the VCR and the tape shows an empty room and music starts playing.
In the kitchen, Rob gathers more fruit to give to Jordana and Fab, well, at least, the fruit Kenya has not eaten. "Baby, are you eating for two or going to the electric chair?" he asks incredulous. "I'm sorry, I don't know why I'm this hungry" Kenya answers. "We can check it out at our next appointment". They hear music playing. "Rob, did you turn on the radio?". "No". The song "Insatiable" is heard playing and it switches to "Do Me, Baby". They realize where the music was playing. They remember the tape they made in Chicago and share the same look of shock and fright. Jordana and Fab yell in embarrassment. Rob and Kenya leave the kitchen to see Fab turn off the tape. "Um...you guys didn't let us in to see that, did you?" Jordana asks, covering her eyes. "Oh, God. That was...not what we expected..." Fab says in nervous laughter. "What did you think it was?" Rob asks. "It had a peace sign and hearts on it. We taught it was about peace and love".
After a while, Rob talks about the mini-series he's in and the release date is set for after the Thanksgiving holiday. Fab congratulates him and tells him about starting his job at a radio station in L.A. . The job is for 3 months and it starts after New Year's Day. Jordana starts to get sad a little when hearing the news. "Dana, what's wrong?" Kenya asks. "Oh, it's nothing. It's just...I'm going to miss him" she says about Fab. He goes to hug her and assures her they can keep in touch over the phone and see each other long distance. This helps Jordana feel better and they leave after a while.
That night, Kenya gets ready for bed. As she changes, she looks at herself in the mirror. Her body has grown fuller in the last few months. While her face remained the same size and shape, her breasts have grown a fuller cup size and her hips flared out a little more. Her brown skin has lighten and her stomach sticks out to where her navel is protruding. Kenya turns off the light and goes to get into bed. Rob joins her and starts to rub her stomach before they fall asleep.

That morning, Rob wakes up to see Kenya is already out of bed. He goes to the bathroom to freshen up, but finds the door is locked. "Kenya? Are you alright?". He hears her crying. "Baby, what's wrong? Open the door". "No, I don't want you to see me". Rob gets confused. "Why not?". "I look hideous!". "Kenya, you're always beautiful to me". She unlocks and opens the door. "Even when I look like this?" she asks. Rob is taken aback slightly as he sees Kenya has developed a rash, her face broken out and her hair a tangled mess. "See? You're ashamed to be seen with me!" She goes to close the door, but Rob stops her. "Kenya, come here. I'm not ashamed of you. I love you. Our appointment is today, we can tell the doctor what's happening and he'll tell us it's going to fine, OK?". Kenya nods and Rob hugs her as they get ready to go.
Later, they return from the hospital with only a few concerns addressed. While the outbreaks Kenya received were common and would eventually go away, it doesn't explain why the fetus is larger than usual from being pregnant for only 3 months. The doctor told them he will run some more tests and get back in touch with them in a few days. Kenya's mood does lighten up more from this morning as she pulls out a magazine to read. She feels Rob rub her shoulders and relaxes. Rob moves to feel her stomach and feels the baby 'kick', making him laugh a little. He moves up and starts to massage her breasts. "Rob, that's not where the baby is resting" Kenya says, giggling. "I know, but these babies need love, too" he says, rubbing her gently.

Rob comes home and thinks of a song he wants to write for the baby. He pulls out some paper to write the lyrics and melody, before picking up and tuning his guitar. As he starts to play a few notes, the phone rings. "Hello?". "Hello, Mr. Pilatus? This is Dr. Alton, how are you today". "Oh, hi there. I'm fine. It's been pretty long. Kenya's face is clearing up a little, but the mood swings are still around". "That is something expected, but the reason for my call is to follow-up on your last appointment. I found something in your wife's ultrasound that you should know" Dr. Alton states. "Is everything alright?". "Yes, I found out why she appears to be carrying fuller . There are two eggs that are forming and been doing so since your first visit. You are going to be having twins!". Rob does not respond and the phone slips from his hand onto his lap. "Hello? Mr. Pilatus?". He picks the phone back up after the initial shock. "Sorry doctor, I'm still here. I'm just so surprised. Are they both boys or girls?" . "One of each". They continue to discuss what will be expected from then on and the expected delivery time. Dr. Alton confirms the next appointment with Rob and he hangs up. Rob, setting down the phone, plays the strings of B-chord and G-chord before playing both of them simultaneously.
That night, Kenya walks over to her apartment and meets up with Jordana. "Hey, Dana". "Hey Kenya, is everything OK?". "Yeah, why?". "I've been calling you for half an hour, but I keep getting the busy signal". "What?...". She heads inside and sees Rob, still playing the same two chords on his guitar. "Rob? Are you alright?" Kenya asks. He snaps out his trance. "Hi, Kenya". "Rob, Dana' s been calling for half an hour, but the line was busy". "Busy?". He remembers the phone was still off the hook and hangs it up. "Sorry, I thought I hung up the phone". "Who were you talking to?". "That was the doctor I was talking to earlier. He says everything is fine, except for 1 thing". "What is it?". "Well instead of have one on the way, another will follow this one. We're having twins, one boy and one girl, just like you wanted" Rob finishes, kissing her. Kenya hugs him, when Jordana comes in. "Is everything OK?" she asks.
They tell her the big news about them having twins instead and they all share excitement. Things continue to look up as Rob and Kenya can't wait to welcome their little bundles of joy into the world.
