Now, there is no way I would end this story like that. It's been almost 6 months since the world was 'ending' and everything is just fine. A lot of changes have taken place since the start of the New Year.
Dr. Harper has resumed leading group therapy sessions and has added a new session for teens and younger adults...
January 8, 2000, 4 months ago
Dr. Harper is seen speaking to a group of teenagers and their parents. "Welcome to our first group meeting, ladies and gentlemen. Today, our children are under more stress and pressure than ever, so it's even more pressing that we talk to them about what's going on and we as adults should listen to them. Our guest speaker was a member of my other group therapy session for adults and he would to speak to all of you today. I would like to introduce, Rick Ortiz.".
Rick has been discharged, due to violating the confidentiality agreement, but is signed on to take physical therapy, along with speech therapy. He's been making great progress, being able to walk faster and speak full sentences. The only thing is he does have to take a pause after a couple of phrases, but overall everyone can understand him speaking...
Rick approaches the group, walking with a limp and starts to speak.
"Good morning...thank you for coming...All of you are taking an important step in...healing...I remember being your ages and...feeling unhappy...but I couldn't tell anyone. We...didn't talk about mental health in my family, and...I have ...bi-polar disorder...At first, I didn't want to believe it...I would ask, 'Why me?'... I end up...hurting myself when I don't take my medication...and...I ended up hurting people...who understood...what I was going through. Two years ago, I...tried to take...my own life and that's why I talk...like this..." Rick tells them. The teens and parents listen to more of Rick's speech.
"Parents,...it is important to talk...to your children about topics like this...and don't think it can't be your child...You are not alone and...we all should work together to bring a greater...awareness...Having a mental health issue...is not a...moral judgement...Does anyone have...any questions?...".
Some teenagers ask about his family background, while some parents ask how can they tell if something's wrong with their children, if they don't say anything. The meeting continues with Dr. Harper and Rick answering their questions.
...Then there's Fab and Jordana, who would take turns visiting each other...

Fab is in L.A., preparing to perform at the Viper Room, with his guitarist, as he hums the tune to his song "Love Revolution". As he reaches to get some of the equipment, he feels someone climb on his back and cover his eyes. "What in the-?! Get off me!" he says. He turns to see Jordana as she jumps off him. "Jordana, you made it!" he says, hugging her. She laughs at his expression and kisses him. "I wanted to surprise you, but I guess I should try a different way next time". "How long are you in town?". "I was going to stay the whole week, so we can catch up and you can help me review my French" she flirts. "OK, our first lesson can start after tonight". Fab tells her something in French. "What does that mean?". Fab whispers the translation in her ear, causing her to blush. "You're so nasty. I'll see you after the show" Jordana laughs and goes to the crowd to watch him perform.
