"So is going around in airports and being lost your hobby or something?" Jungkook asked you teasingly, as the two of you walked along a more narrow and not as busy aisle a while later.
You chuckled and shook your head at his comment. The awkwardness had began to fade away between the two of you, and you didn't feel as shy anymore. So you replied sarcastically and pretended to brush something off your shoulder.
"Well I wouldn't exactly call it a hobby, it's more of a profession actually."
A amused smiled appeared on your companions face as he turned to you.
"Didn't expect an uptown girl like you to have a profession like that, isn't clothes and money the only things you ever think about?"
Uptown girl? You wasn't sure if you were supposed to feel offended or take it as a compliment. Because the last time you checked, you wasn't someone who was a wealthy person that only had money on their mind or only thought about the latest fashion collection. It was the opposite actually.
"Excuse me? What on earth makes you think that I'm a 'uptown girl'?" you said and snorted, surprised by this sudden comment.
Jungkook stopped for a second and cocked an eyebrow in a knowing way at you.
"First of all sweetheart" he said and held up his index finger as like he was counting, and pointed it at your outfit. "You're dressed like one."
"I'm no-" you tried to defend yourself but he just put his finger over your lips and continued.
"And secondly, you sound like one."
Okay that was just simply rude. You hadn't just accepted that invitation to fulfil your dream, only to be met with this cocky guy teasing you like this.
You gave him a long serious look, like to tell him that you wasn't the right person to mess with. Sure you might had seemed a bit shy earlier, but since you had taught yourself how to be pretty independent growing up, you had also developed a pretty strong personality.
"In that case, I assume that tricking lost women into gazing into your big brown sparkly eyes, and fall for your in the next second is your profession then?"
Jungkook smirked and put a finger under your chin, and made you look up at his annoyingly beautiful brown eyes. Damn it, why did he have to have such pretty eyes and in the same time being such a stuck up person? But as he was the only one that knew the way to where you were going, you had to stick with him. At least until you got there, then you would ditch him as soon as you could.
"Tsk and who said that it doesn't work? Cause as far as I know, its going pretty well."
Sigh. He really was something that Jeon Jungkook.
But before you got the chance to answer his comment that he had said with such confidence and sass in his voice, a female voice was suddenly heard from the speakers, catching the two of you's attention.
"Can Mr. Jeon Jungkook and Miss Choi Y/n please come to gate D6, Mr. Jeon Jungkook and Miss Choi Y/n please come to gate D6. Thank you for your attention."
You and Jungkook looked at each other with surprised faces. Then Jungkook chuckled and shook his head.
"Wow, Dr. Kim must really be desperate if he even tells them to send out a message."
Dr. Kim, wasn't that the same man that had invited you to this whole thing?
"He's your boss?" you asked and looked at him curiously. Obviously you knew that this guy was working for some kind of higher put person, but you didn't think that he would work for a scientist.
