The Road To The Hidden Kingdom

"GET YOUR DAMN HANDS AWAY FROM THAT WOMAN!"

The sudden loud growl caused both Taehyung and you to wince. Turning around, you spotted Jungkook standing only some meters away from you. It was hard to see his face since he stood in the shadows, but you could tell that he wasn't happy. But still, that wasn't what scared you the most. In one hand he was holding a gun, and was aiming it directly at Taehyung.

Taking some steps closer, Jungkook came into the light, reflecting on his face from the fire. Rage was visible in his eyes.

"Jungkook no wait, don't shoot!" you burst out, panically waving your hands at him as an attempt to stop him do something that would end terribly.

"Y/n he's dangerous, get out of the way. I will take care of him." Jungkook told you, his voice was filled with determination(A/N: I swear that was an unintentional reference, but preach to you if you know where its from lol) as he glared at the man beside you.

Taehyung on the other hand, was still holding your hands, eyes wide open and fear visible in them. His body had stiffened once Jungkook had appeared, and he didn't move a single muscle. He strongly reminded you of a frightened rabbit, that was ready to escape away from the danger at any second. 

Voices began coming from the other tents, as people of course must have woken up from Jungkook's loud yelling.

"Let go of her, I'm not afraid to shoot dude!" Jungkook barged angrily, his finger hovering over the trigger.

No, you couldn't let this happen. You had gotten to know Jungkook well enough to know that he was most definitely capable of shooting someone, it wasn't just an empty threat.

Taking the situation in your own hands, you shoved Taehyung behind you and stood protectively with open arms in front of him. Making yourself as big as you could, acting like a shield for the unusual man behind you. 

"Jungkook I'm not going anywhere. Leave. Him. Be." you said in a serious tone through gritted teeth, glaring back at the now slightly taken back Jungkook.

"But-"

Jungkook was cut off when the gun that he was still holding in his hand, all of a sudden was teared out of his grip. A strong gust of wind swept in and made it fly through the air like it was light as a feather, only to then land several meters away from him.

"What the-" was the only thing that came out of Jungkook's mouth, as he stared down at his now empty hand.

What on earth did just happen?

You was about to turn around to see what Jungkook was staring at, but in the next moment, people came rushing out of their tents. Their faces looked grumpy to have been woken up in the middle of the night, but soon changed once they noticed the mysterious stranger that still stood behind you. They immediately surrounded you and and him, eyeing the man up and down with narrowed eyes.

"If someone would be so kind to explain to me what all of the yelling is about, then perhaps I could consider not to scold any- Oh, I see.."

Commander Jung just got out of his tent, not looking too pleased with being woken up in the middle of his sleep. But once he saw everyone standing by the fire, his annoyed voice instantly changed.

Marching past the still shocked Jungkook, who still stood there and didn't know what to do, and up to the rest of you. Pushing past some of the men, he then made eye contact with Taehyung. Raising his eyebrows in sheer surprise, as he was looking at the oddly dressed up man up and down. Stroking his chin and letting out a long sigh, he then exchanged a glance with the others who looked as astonished as himself.
