A/N: Just a fair warning, this chapter is extremely dark (and freaking messy and all over the place lmao sorry) so keep that in mind. Also, Seokjinnie baby, I'm so sorry.

Seokjin's POV.

Pulling out the knife from Hoseok's chest, he fell to his knees with a loud gasp. Seokjin's eyes looked down at him with hatred as his friend gave him a sharp glare, but it didn't matter. His time was over. Kicking him hard in the stomach caused his body to hit the ground with a heavy thud.

"You... piece of- I gave you another shot, but you're still a sicko." Hoseok spit out as he coughed and his face crumbled up into a grimace, clenching his jaw from the sting of pain coming from his chest.

Squatting down right beside him, Seokjin placed a finger on his lips and silenced him.

"I wouldn't waist that much air if I were you, looks like you have a pretty badly injured lung there." his fingers gently went down Hoseok's jaw and caressed it "It's a shame really, I really wasn't planning for it to go like this. Hm what was that thing that you once told me? 'Brothers by choice, not by blood' Oh yeah that's it!"

A wicked smile spread across his face as the familiar words left his lips, the same words that had once brought him to tears. Now they meant nothing to him. Not a ounce of regret was found when he looked down at the man, watching how he struggled to breath. Hoseok had been more family to him than no one ever had.

[Five years earlier]

The clock struck 9 in the morning and all the students walked into the empty lecture hall. Minjun who was one of the first one to enter, sat down on a seat as far away from the other students as possible, placing his computer on the little wooden desk in front of him.

He was a science student. Ever since he was a kid, science had always been something that had been interesting to him. During is younger days he had spent his free time plowing through book after book about things that would usually be way too advanced for a normal kid to even understand, but for Minjun there was no problem. Already at an early stage, his parent had started to realise that their only son indeed wasn't like any other kid on their block. With countless visits to the small town's science lab, they soon had discovered that their son had an IQ higher than the average child.

Minjun was what we would call a "child genius". For the rest of his school days, he had been moved up in classes several times, because he simply was too intelligent for being with people his own age. At the age of 12, he had already been transfered four times.

The downside with him being so advanced in everything at such an early age, had also led to him finding it hard to get friends. As he never really stayed long enough at one place to truly get to know anyone, although, this had never truly bothered him that much. At a young age he had prefered his own company over anyone else, not even his parents could break through to him when it came to that part.

Apart from his brilliant mind and his surprisingly independent side, Minjun was also a pretty odd kid. His fascination for biology and life in general had always been big, in fact even a little worriedly big.

A clear memory from his early teenage years, had been when his mother had found him in his room, trying to figure out the fastest way to kill a poor little frog. That poor woman had gotten a pretty good shock when she came into his room and seen her son standing there leaned over his desk. He had turned around when his name was called, holding one of her sharp kitchen knives in one hand and a innocent little frog in the other.
